Kevin W. Calvert

Dr Kevin Calvert is a third-generation dentist, and named the office building for his grandfather, Dr James Rex Calvert. His grandfather graduated from Northwestern in 1908, and practiced dentistry for 56 years. Dr Calvert's father Wade graduated from the UC San Francisco School of Dentistry, and practiced for 52 years, retiring in 2002. Dr Wade opened his San Jose office in 1953, and his four sons followed him into the family profession. Dr Kevin is an alumnus of DelMar High School, and West Valley College. He graduated in Dentistry from Northwestern University in 1983, seventy five years after his grandfather, and joined his father's practice in San Jose. Dr Calvert is known to be an exceptionally kind dentist, and treats every patient with compassion and dignity He is skilled in all aspects of dental care, and enjoys the creative aspects of his profession. Dr Calvert is a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, and the Santa Clara County Dental Society. He has been recognized by the California Foundation for the Handicapped for his humanitarian services in dentistry. He was recently honored by the SCCDS for his volunteer work in restorative dentistry for the Santa County Court system. Dr Calvert's many interests outside the office reflect his creative talents, they include glassblowing, woodwork, stained glass and lampwork. He lives in San Jose with his wife, and they enjoy being grandparents and spending time with their family. Dr Calvert is an active volunteer in the community and for his church.
