CHENANGO VISION CENTER - Key Persons

Dr. Glenn Stein

Dr. Glenn Stein has been practicing optometry at Chenango Vision Center in Norwich, NY since 1994. Dr. Stein's goal is to provide full scope optometric eye care to the community with a personal touch. His practice at Chenango Vision Center combines modern technology with good old-fashioned service, something that is often missing in today's fast paced medical office environment. His philosophy of practice is educational, so he believes it is essential to spend time with patients to answer their questions and to educate them about their eye health in a way they can understand. Dr. Stein earned a Bachelor of Arts from the State University of New York at Buffalo, graduating with honors. At the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia he earned a Bachelor of Science degree and a Doctor of Optometry degree, also graduating with honors in 1989. At PCO he was inducted as a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Optometric honor society. As part of his optometric education Dr. Stein received specialty training at The Eye Institute's Lynch Pediatric and Binocular Vision Center. He also received extensive training in the treatment and management of ocular disease at John F. Kennedy Memorial Hospital in Philadelphia. In the fast evolving field of modern eye care there is always something new to learn, and Dr. Stein regularly continues his education at conferences around the world.

Wendy Carroll

Wendy Carroll is a NYS licensed optician who started in the optical field in January 1983. She is a member of the NYS Society of Opticians. When a child puts on their first pair of glasses and their face lights up with how they can now see the world, or the older person smiles because of their brand new look, or the disabled person beams because she is finally comfortable enough in her glasses to once again be able to read the books she has stacked up waiting... those are the best days in Wendy's opinion and she will work hard to find a way to make you smile about your new glasses, too.
