Cassandra Jones

Cassandra has been with Coming Home since 2016 serving in different capacities. She started as an Access Navigator, filled the role of processing applications for State vouchers, provided case management for the Covid Vulnerable population and is now Lead Access Navigator. As such, she oversees the return calls from 211 callers and their appropriate initial referral for assistance and coordinates the activities of our new physical sites providing access to the system of help. Cassandra has many years' experience working in the community with homeless clients as well as providing social services to individuals in need. She is a New Brunswick native & has volunteered at local agencies serving Middlesex County families. Currently, Cassandra resides in Edison with her daughter.

Courtland Cobb

Courtland joined Coming Home in December 2018 as one of two case managers launching our Social and Health Services Integration (SHI) program. Court most recently worked for Catholic Charities Diocese of Metuchen as a Case Manager, working full time in the emergency shelter and with persons placed in permanent housing. He graduated from Delaware State University in 2001 with a Bachelor's of Science degree in of agriculture business. He began his career at the Advance Behavioral Health Division of the Devereux Foundation in Devon P.A., working with children with behavioral issues. After two years of service there, Court provided case management services to senior citizens for 8 years at Senior Community Services in Darby P.A. Court moved to N.J. ten years ago and started working for Easter Seals of N.J. as a service specialist, providing job training and placement to individuals with disabilities.

Crystal N. Crawford

Crystal Crawford joined Coming Home in 2023 to assist Coming Home implement the County's enhancement of the homelessness system's Coordinated Entry/Assessment process. She will be working offsite in the city of New Brunswick to provide greater access to residents to the system of help. She most recently worked as a Case Manager/HMIS Specialist of East Orange/Orange Community Development Corporation, where was employed for over 20 years. Crystal is a member of the NAACP of the Oranges & Maplewood, volunteered as an Auxiliary Police Officer for 8 years with the Metuchen Police Department, received Rutgers University SNAP Food Handler Certification, NJHMFA HMIS Site Administrator and User Certification and ROMA Certification. She graduated from East Orange High School and pursued her higher education at Union County College. Crystal is most proud of her achievements in community service and is committed to improving the quality of life for homeless and low income individuals/families. Her goal is to create an environment that empowers, educates, and motivates others to become self-sufficient, live to their fullest potential, and encourages them to give back to the community. She is currently married to her high school sweetheart for 18 years and has two beautiful children. In her spare time she enjoys traveling, volunteering, and spending time with her family and friends.

Eileen O'Donnell

Eileen is the Executive Director of Coming Home of Middlesex County, Inc. Her 20 years of professional experience as a health care attorney and business woman, providing legal, business and policy analysis services to public, as well as private, entities, that she brought to this role, served her well and enabled her to grow and develop the organization from the idea that it was when she assumed the role in April 2011. She holds a B.A. in Psychology; a Masters in Public Policy from the Eagleton Institute of Politics; a J.D. from Rutgers' School of Law and a Masters in Social Work from Rutgers University.

Frances O'Toole

Frances joined Coming Home in July 2016 as Assistant Director of Programs. She brings over 20 years of professional experience in the affordable housing industry, between non-profit housing providers and large mortgage finance and banking institutions. She primarily worked to assist low-income families become first generation homeowners, and financially-troubled homeowners avoid foreclosure. She graduated from Rutgers University School of Arts and Sciences with a B.A. in English and History, and from Rutgers Graduate School with a M.A. in Political Science, United Nations and Global Policy, with a concentration in Human Rights and International Law. Frances has 3 children, and is a long-time resident of New Brunswick, NJ.

Jamil Adams

Jamil is a 1983 graduate of Woodrow Wilson (newly named Eastside High) located in Camden, NJ, where he was a member of the varsity basketball team and Vice President of the "Principle's Cabinet." He went on to earn his Bachelor's of Science degree in Accounting, with a minor in Finance, from Manhattan College located in Riverdale, NY where he also was a three-year letterman on the Division I men's basketball team. Jamil has spent his career working in both the private and public sector of Residential Property Management. Jamil came to Coming Home in 2023 after spending the past 15 year with the Public Housing Authority of the City of Camden. Jamil is happily married for 34 years to his lovely wife Marie.

Malika Brown-Brothers is an accomplished Nonprofit Leader with over 18 years of experience as an administrative professional, and nonprofit leader. In her previous roles as Chief of Staff and Chief Strategy Officer, Malika successfully increased organizational revenue, engaged communities, established operational policies and procedures, and enhanced communications and marketing efforts. Malika holds a Bachelor's degree in Human Relations and a Master's degree in Business Management and Leadership from the City University of New York. Meriam Shenoda

Meriam Shenouda joined Coming Home in October 2012 after having spent approximately one month volunteering at the organization. As Senior Director of Operations, Meriam assists with the administrative and fiscal operations of all programs, as well as the fiscal management of the organization. Her organizational and publishing skills also makes her indispensable in our fundraising and issuance of publications, including our Annual Reports. Meriam has over 14 years of employment experience, working for international organizations, providing public relations and general office management services in multi-cultural environments. She is also engaged in several ministries sponsored by, and affiliated with, the Coptic Orthodox Church, serving poor families and assisting young couples with financial needs. Meriam has a Bachelor's degree in Commerce & Accounting from the University of Alexandria, Egypt.

Migdalia Figueroa Castillo

Migdalia is a dedicated social services professional with more than twenty years' experience serving populations considered to be economically disadvantaged. She joined Coming Home in July 2020. Her most recent experience was more than fifteen years at Goodwill Industries of New York & Northern New Jersey, Inc. where she was employed as a Resource Coordinator and Case Manager. She was often referred to as "the go-to person" by Goodwill staff when referred a large number of the Back-To-Works' 2,500 clients for resources ranging from domestic violence shelters, temporary housing, food pantries and health care agencies, including medical insurance. She was instrumental in bringing mobile communication companies to the Goodwill program sites to assist clients in signing up for free mobile phones, which is essential for conducting job searches. Her work ethic epitomized the motto of the Goodwill Industries "to provide a helping hand rather than a hand out to folks truly in need." Migdalia received a certification in domestic violence training from Safe Horizons, training in the assessment of disadvantaged clients' medical, housing, and economic needs; training in social service navigation from the Better Business Bureau, and training in various forms of remediation involving marital and legal issues by IMCR. She also worked at several New York City jails where she coordinated client discharge planning, including the provision of all necessary support for ex-offenders to join society and become self-sufficient. She is driven by a passion to help people and we are happy to have her join the Coming Home team.
