FELICIA

Felicia has mediated greater than 300 cases and received awards in 2011 from the Washington Mediation Association and from the Whatcom DRC for her mediating. She coaches and mentors mediation students at the Whatcom and Skagit DRCs. Felicia is also participating in the development of the alternative sentencing program for Whatcom County via the Whatcom DRC. This is a program that provides minimum risk offenders with education and skill building in conflict resolution to improve their communication skills and give them a better understanding of interpersonal conflict in order to decrease the likelihood of repeat offenses. Additionally, Felicia teaches nonviolent communication, conflict resolution, communication skills, and related topics to Upper Skagit tribal members and to prison inmates at William Head, BC, and Monroe, WA.
