DAWN SELBY

Dawn Selby is a professional composer, arranger, songwriter, performer, teacher and musical director with over 40 years of experience in the music industry, both classical and contemporary. Dawn has written arrangements for orchestral and choral compositions and when possible has performed as piano soloist with some of South Africa's leading orchestras and has been involved in many corporate and theatre productions as both music director and musician. Dawn also regularly performs with her band, 'Abacuss', and is involved in ongoing studio work... In 2009, 2010 and 2011, Dawn was invited to do orchestral arrangements for shows featuring the Guelph Symphony Orchestra, Toronto, Canada. The repertoire consisted mainly of rock songs and the orchestra line-up includes a six piece band and four front line singers. She was also invited to perform with the orchestra in 2009.
