Cameron Johnson is the Chairman of Deer Valley, a position he has held since joining in 2004.
Cameron is a Partner of Johnson Advisory Services Inc. which is a boutique corporate finance firm with business advisory and merchant banking operations.
Cameron is also the President & CEO of Skeleton Lake Investment Corporation which is a Saskatchewan based investment management company with investments in the residential construction & property development, equipment manufacturing, agriculture production & processing and hospitality & tourism sectors.
Previously, Cameron held positions as a Partner of a western Canadian based private equity firm, as an Associate with a boutique Toronto based corporate finance firm, and as a Manager in the Assurance practice of KPMG LLP.
Cameron has a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree from the University of Guelph and holds the Chartered Accountant, Chartered Business Valuator and Chartered Financial Analyst designations.

Greg Murdock has been a member of the PGA of Canada since 1985. Initially Greg apprenticed at the Murray GC with Head Pro Wayne Frank. Greg then moved on to be the Head Pro at the Kinookimaw Golf Course at Regina Beach. While there, Greg apprenticed three other golf pros, two of which still retain their professional status. From there, Greg moved on to opening his own golf driving range north of Regina which he operated for a number of years. During this time, in addition to offering golf lessons to the public, Greg would travel to Moose Jaw and Weyburn to teach golf lessons.
Greg is part at the Deer Valley PGA team as our Head Teaching Professional specializing in individual and private group lessons. Greg brings a wealth of experience as a player and teacher and looks forward to being part of the team in the delivery of another exciting year of golf.

Heather is the President of Deer Valley and is responsible for all aspects of the golf course and clubhouse operations.
Heather is also the President and CEO of the Superior Group of Companies which owns Rite Way Mfg. Co. Ltd. and SuperiorRoads Solutions Limited Partnership (which operates as Python Mfg).
Previously, Heather has held positions with a private equity firm and in government finance and development. She has also acted as President & CEO of companies in the forestry and agricultural sectors.
Heather has a Bachelor of Administration from the University of Regina and is a Certified Management Accountant.
Shawn Smith has been in the golf industry since 1992 and brings a diverse skill set to Deer Valley. Shawn apprenticed in custom clubmaking under Eric Cook at the Complete Golf School in Ottawa starting in 2004. He went on to South Carolina to learn about swing mechanics through The Golfing Machine and was the first to score perfect exams. He also holds fitting certificates from Ping, Taylormade and Mizuno.
Shawn is passionate about delivering a first rate golfing experience to everyone and wanted to learn the business side of golf. In 2020 Shawn graduated with Honours from the Golf Management program at McMaster University. Shawn joined the PGA of Canada in 2020 when he shot his qualifying scores at the Royal Regina. Shawn completed his class "A" status in 2022 and is currently the Deer Valley Assocaiate Professional. Shawn was nominated for the PGA of Saskatchewan Assistant of the year award in 2022 & 2023.

Tim is a veteran of the Turf industry with 37 years of experience and almost 30 years as a Superintendent. Tim was most recently with Silverwood GC in Saskatoon which has a reputation for great course conditions.
Tim is highly organized and has a hands-on approach to team leadership. Tim is a leader in the golf industry with his turfgrass knowledge, mechanical aptitude, organizational abilities and excellent human resources skills. Tim's focus on professionalism, honesty and integrity are true assets to the Deer Valley team and we are excited to to have him lead our Turf team going forward.
