Amber Mosley

Amber Mosley has been with the Dental Center of Vidalia family since 2014. She earned her EDA, Expanded Duties Assistant in 2015 and plans to further her education in becoming a CDA, Certified Dental Assistant. Amber graduated from Toombs County High School and went on to become a certified Phlebotomist as well as graduate with her Associates Degree from East Georgia State College. Amber enjoys being an assistant and meeting the new people and welcoming back returning patients. She loves to help people feel more confident about their smiles. Amber has been a resident of Toombs County all of her life. She and her husband, Michael Mosley, have one daughter together, Preslie. Amber and her family attend church at Connection Church.

Casi Thigpen

Casi Thigpen graduated from Southeastern Technical College in May 2015 with an Associate's Degree in Dental Hygiene. She was a recipient of the Hinman Dental Scholarship, a finalist in the GOAL award, Georgia Occupational Award of Leadership, and won the Golden Scaler Award. Casi loves interacting with the patients and tries to make their visit enjoyable, while providing quality comprehensive care. In her free time she enjoys spending time with family, shopping, and running. She is originally from Treutlen County where she resides with her family. She is married to Garrett Thigpen. They live in Treutlen County and have one son, Cannon.

Kimberly Avant

Kimberly Avant is a Montgomery County native and graduated in 2004 from Southeastern Technical College with a Business Office Technology Degree. She received her certification from the Dental Assisting National Board in 2009. Kimberly started working with Dental Center of Vidalia in 2006 as a Certified Dental Assistant. Working with our wonderful patients, she says is by far the best part of her job. She is also blessed to be part of an amazing dental team. She has two children, a son Sloan and a daughter Skylar. She attends the Vidalia First Baptist Church.

Phillisa Frost

Job Titles:
  • Dental Assistant
Phillisa Frost is a Dental Assistant with over 21 years of experience. She is certified in Expanded Duties along with Cerec/CadCam, Botox/Juvederm, Implant and Pinhole Surgery. She is also a member of the Georgia Dental Assistants Association, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and the Association of Dental Implant Auxiliaries. Phillisa is proud of her job and enjoys working beside Dr. Kimbrel while delivering quality dental care using cutting edge technology.

Robyn D. McDonald

  • Registered Dental Hygienist
Robyn D. McDonald is a Registered Dental Hygienist. She received her degree from Macon State College where she received several scholarships and awarded The Golden Scaler award. A native of Telfair County moving to Vidalia to begin her career with our practice in 1996. She is married to Ken McDonald; they have one son, Jonathon, and a fur baby, Zoee'. She ministers in her church to the young adults and sings on the praise team. Her passion for the Lord shows through in her work.

Samantha Smith

Samantha Smith has been employed with Dental Center of Vidalia since 2005. Samantha earned her EDA, Expanded Duties Assisting certificate in 2007 and then went on to achieve her CDA, Certified Dental Assisting certification in 2011 from the Dental Assisting National Board, Inc. Samantha takes great pride in her job and enjoys being involved with all the new technologies as they become available. She loves meeting new patients and strives to build relationships with each patient and finds their trust is very important and rewarding. On a personal note, Samantha is a resident and native of Tattnall County. She is married to Will Smith and they have three children, Kayla, Emma and Lily. She and her family love to vacation once a year in Disney World. It has become her favorite place to go.

Tammy Shuman

  • Registered Dental Hygienist
Tammy Shuman is a Registered Dental Hygienist. She received her degree in Allied Health Science from Armstrong Atlantic State University in Savannah, GA. She has practiced 18 years with the Dental Center of Vidalia. She is married to Brian Shuman and has 3 children; Blake, Kalab and Anna Marie. She is an active member of First Baptist Church of Collins. She enjoys spending time with family and watching her children play sports.
