Daniel Chan Chong

  • Second Service Leader for Finance
Daniel Chan Chong is the second service leader for Finance as well as risk management. He has over 15 years of experience in management consultancy. As a business advisor, Daniel assists organizations in both the private and public sector to strengthen their financial management, and, to implement management control systems. He studied Business Systems Analysis at the City University in London, UK. Daniel is a Practicing Chartered Management Accountant. He is a Past President of the Mauritius Branch of CIMA and served as a Board member of the CIMA Southern Africa Regional Board (now the CIMA Africa Board). Daniel is a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA). He has contributed in the elaboration of the Mauritius "National ICT Strategic Plan 2007-2011". He leads round-table discussions on "Global Management Accounting Principles" and is also a member of CIMA's "Panel of Assessors" for new admissions towards membership of the Global Institute. Daniel serves as independent member or adviser on several Audit & Governance Committees.

Evelyn A. Kiiza

Evelyn has a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration (Management) and she has over fifteen (15) years of proven working experience in planning, customer service and quality assurance. She is mature minded and experienced individual with a proven record within the administrative/Managerial role. An excellent worker who thrives well under pressure, accepts challenges, meets deadlines and able to work individually and as a team. Requires minimum supervision, ambitious, goals oriented and have a clear vision of objectives, adapts to changes in task situation and environment.

Kennedy Ogoro

Kennedy is responsible for the Monitoring component of the M&E service area. With over 14 years of consulting experience in the development sector, Kennedy has worked as M&E officer for Civic education in Kenya funded by like minded donors led by DfID, a team leader for research projects at the Institute of Development Studies, University of Nairobi, and as a consultant for donor funded programs in the public and private sector, NGOs and Governments. Kennedy has a Master's degree in Human Ecology and holds a Bachelor's degree in Social Work. His areas of expertise include capacity assessments, monitoring and evaluation (M&E), resource mobilization, governance, project management and coordination. Kennedy has worked on the Global Fund to fight Malaria, Tuberculosis and HIV/AIDS grants as Monitoring and Evaluation expert supporting PricewaterhouseCoopers Limited, Local funding agency and involved in capacity assessments in M&E system, Governance and programmatic, evaluations, review of progress reports data quality audits and M&E systems strengthening special assignments related to spot checks. He has worked in the following countries: Kenya, Namibia, Eritrea, Somalia, Uganda, Rwanda, Zambia, Tanzania, Zanzibar and Vietnam. Kennedy has also undertaken Global Alliance for Vaccine Initiative (GAVI) assessment on Monitoring and Evaluation systems and Governance/Oversight mechanisms in Eritrea.
