Candy Adams - COO

At FAC, Candy leads all initiatives relating to team development. She leads the team and has built a team culture that is unique to FAC. Candy began her professional career in IT for a Radiology organization, rising quickly to department director. Her talent with leading people and organizing systems took her to the Medical Operations team, where she spent 16 years overseeing a team spanning 7 Radiology Centers. Looking for a fresh challenge, Candy arrived at FAC in 2017. Candy has spent many years studying and honing her skills in being a conscious leader. She brings transformative coaching, training, and team building skills to the forefront of the practice. Inside and outside of the office, Candy is a photographer who has an eye for beauty. Recently, she has been donating her talent to a local cat sanctuary, helping capture adoptable pets so they can find their fur-ever homes. We are so grateful to have Candy leading our team!

Christine Rochon

Christine is a professionally licensed Aesthetic Registered Nurse, and native Rhode Islander with over 20 years of experience in the beauty industry. Christine has served not only as a provider but also as an educator, including time at the National Laser Institute, teaching laser hair removal and skin rejuvenation procedures. Her work in aesthetics has covered the complete scope of Hair, Makeup and Skin Care, performing HydraFacials, Chemical Peels, Microneedling, Dermaplaning, and Lasers, including: BBL/IPL, PhotoFacials, etc. Her experience and passion for finding the best solutions for her clients' skin care concerns make her an invaluable resource for both patients and for the team.

Dr. Helen Livson

Dr. Helen Livson is a Board certified Doctor of Periodontology with extensive training in Facial Aesthetics. Dr. Livson joined the Facial Aesthetics Center as a physician injector in 2014, and her expertise in lower face anatomy and precise injection techniques have been instrumental in providing our aesthetic patients with unparalleled results as well as comfort. Dr. Livson graduated from Tufts University with a degree in Biology and Studio Arts, and received her Doctor of Medical Dentistry degree from the University of Connecticut. She continued her medical education with a one year hospital-based residency training. Dr. Livson then completed a 3-year fellowship at the world renowned Harvard University School of Dental Medicine, graduating with a Master of Medical Sciences in Periodontology, Implantology and Regenerative medicine. Dr. Livson spent the next few years performing surgeries in a busy Periodontology practice in Brookline, MA. She also volunteered teaching fellows at the Harvard University School of Dentistry. In 2012, Dr. Livson was invited to the Facial Aesthetics Center as an expert guest lecturer. She shared her expertise in lower face anatomy, numbing techniques to make lip injections very comfortable for patients, and ways to use Botox to relieve clenching, and balance lower face muscle asymmetries. The two sisters quickly realized that combining Dr. Livson's expertise in lower face anatomy and Dr. Levy's expertise in upper face anatomy, they were able to provide aesthetic patients with unparalleled medical care and results. Dr. Livson is Board Certified and Board Recertified by the American Board of Periodontology. She is also a member of the American Academy of Facial Aesthetics.

Heather Wood

Heather has been a Medical Assistant since 2004 and has dedicated the past 18 years to helping patients. She joined FAC in 2020 and has been keeping us organized ever since. Her attention to detail is unmatched. Heather is also a licensed Cosmetologist with an emphasis on nail services & yes, her nails are always amazing! In her free time Heather loves to travel, spend time with her family and enjoys a great live Comedy Show and Music. You will find her assisting the doctors in the treatment rooms & keeping the Guest Relations Team up on all the trends.

Nicole Breting

Nicole is a board-certified nurse practitioner and Medical Aesthetic Injector with over a decade of experience. She earned her Master's degree with the specialty of Family Nurse Practitioner from Regis College and her Bachelors of Nursing from Endicott College. Nicole brings a distinct blend of medical experience to the team. Her past roles have included inpatient orthopedic care, general surgery, and trauma surgery at Rhode Island and Miriam Hospitals. Her attention to detail, quick thinking, and passion for safety and helping people led her thrive in the hospital setting; however, Nicole's true passion has always been medical aesthetics. Nicole strives to create individualized aesthetic treatment plans that enhance a patient's natural beauty, not drastically change it. Her goal is to deliver a natural and refreshed look that keeps her patients a few steps ahead of the aging process. Nicole takes pride in honing her skills through ongoing training and development. She regularly reviews the most up to date clinical studies and attends hands-on injectable trainings. In addition, she educates fellow staff on trends, techniques and safety information. Nicole is also a Rhode Island native. While not at FAC, she enjoys time with her family, playing tennis and going to the beach. We are thrilled to have her as a part of the team.

Sarah S. Levy

Sarah S. Levy, MD is a board-certified Ophthalmic Surgeon with extensive experience in aesthetic treatments. She is the founder and medical director of the Facial Aesthetics Center of Rhode Island. Dr. Levy specializes in upper and lower face neurotoxin treatments, micro-cannula filler injection techniques, and full face rejuvenation with Sculptra . Dr. Levy is an Assistant Professor of Surgery at the Alpert School of Medicine at Brown University, where she trains Ophthalmology surgeons-in-training. She also mentors medical residents in aesthetic techniques at her office, and runs a summer internship for Brown University medical students, and pre-med college students. Dr. Levy is a nationally renowned expert in neurotoxins (Botox and Dysport) and filler treatments. She has been invited to lecture at medical conferences nationally and regionally about advanced injection techniques. She is also a physician faculty for Galderma (the makers of Dysport, Restylane and Sculptra) and was physician faculty and national speaker for Allergan (the makers of Botox and Juvederm), training physicians and physician extenders in safe and effective injection techniques. Dr. Levy was elected to the Women in Aesthetics Leadership Council Advisory Board, and is a Key Opinion Leader in the aesthetic industry. She has been an international speaker for Hydrafacial on Hydrafacial Day, and has been a resource for Wall Street when doing research on upcoming aesthetic trends and products. Dr. Levy was awarded America's Most Honored Doctors - Top 1%, in 2020, and received the Vitals Patients' Choice Award in 2012, 2013, 2014, 2017 and 2018. She is a member of the New England Ophthalmology Society, the American Academy of Ophthalmology, and has been Board Certified and Board Recertified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. Dr. Sarah Levy graduated from Brown University, and received her medical degree from George Washington University School of Medicine. She received her specialty training by top surgeons associated with the Department of Ophthalmology at SUNY Buffalo. Dr. Levy joined the faculty at the prestigious Kellogg Eye Center at the University of Michigan, as Assistant Professor of Surgery, before moving to Rhode Island, where she founded the Facial Aesthetics Center of Rhode Island and joined the faculty at Brown University's Department of Surgery. Dr. Levy's volunteer work includes multiple week-long trips to impoverished areas in Mexico to perform cataract surgery on adults who have limited access to modern medical procedures. In addition, Dr. Levy has been volunteering at the Providence VA Medical Center since 2011, providing glaucoma and cataract care, medical Botox and laser treatments to veterans from Rhode Island and Massachusetts. When not working, Dr. Levy loves to spend time with her family, husband, children, and 2 cats. She also tries to make time for hiking, biking, ziplining, playing the piano, and learning how to ballroom dance.

Shelby Finan

Shelby is a board certified Physician Assistant with over 3 years of experience in Aesthetic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. She worked as a first assist for both cosmetic and reconstructive surgeries, including breast augmentations and tummy tucks. As well as enhanced aesthetics, Shelby brings experience with a range of energy-based laser devices, and understands how to create synergistic treatment plans that deliver optimal results. She graduated with honors from North Carolina State University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and then went on to achieve the Physician Assistant's Masters of Medical Science from Arcadia University. Shelby then pursued a Residency with the prestigious Norwalk/Yale Surgical group where she was honored with the Linda Brandt Memorial Award for exemplary spirit of effort and dedication to patient care. Her aesthetic eye and love for natural outcomes led Shelby to pursue her career in cosmetic injectables. She evaluates individual needs and creates customized treatment plans that highlight and augment a patient's natural beauty. Shelby's passion is evident in the beautiful results she has achieved for her patients. Her vast knowledge of skincare products and treatments will be an asset to our practice, and we are excited to see the positive impact she will have in our patients' lives. A native of New England, Shelby enjoys time outdoors when she is not at the office. Her favorite hobbies include relaxing at the beach and hiking with her husband, Josh. She enjoys being an aunt to her nephew Brooks and loves cheering on her NC State Wolfpack with her family and friends.

Sophie Scott

Sophie is passionate about everything skin-care though her career background is in client relations. After leaving San Francisco, where she grew up, Sophie led guest relations training in the National Headquarters of American Honda Motors in Los Angeles and then followed her sister and mother to Rhode Island 8 years ago. Landing at Castle Hill Hotel in Newport, Sophie's passion for creating individualized, luxury experiences for all of her clients was showcased daily and she has brought the same same drive and passion to the clients and team of FAC. Sophie's love of high-quality skin care is not only apparent but makes understanding product ingredients and usage easy for everyone looking to up their skin care game. In her role as Patient Care Coordinator, Sophie assists the doctors in assessing patient goals and explains the aesthetic options that we have available to them. She is a resource for patients and strives to support the team in every way possible.

Tasha's career started in California where she managed a skincare company and quickly discovered her love of aesthetics, but family brought her back to The Ocean State! Tasha shares decades of experience as an award-winning Spa Director, overseeing 5 Medical Spas in Rhode Island. She also helped launch Rhode Island's largest day spa sharing her best practices which were published in ISPA Magazine. Trained by The Franklin Covey Institute, Tasha has the ability to drive sales while making it fun for the team to accomplish their goals. Tasha gives everyone a reason to smile making sure they feel like the best version of themself. She spends most of her time outside of work with her rescue pups and keeps busy creating
