ERNEST PROJECT

Established in September 2008, ERNEST has the overall aim to address the issue of sustainable development of the tourism sector through coordination and collaboration among regional research programmes. The first months were dedicated to the construction of the project governance - the main bodies of ERNEST are the partners consortium, the Steering Committee and the Policy and Advisory Group... Research programmes in this field are generally fragmentated. We want to develop and strengthen a framework for coordinating regional research programmes on sustainable tourism.
