Excell Santa Gertrudis has become a boutique Santa gertrudis herd producing cattle descending from our most successful female, the 2004 Jr. National Grand Champion Female SCC Hanna 2S23 and her progeny. Hanna's progeny and grand-progeny continue to be the base of our herd while we continue incorporating only the finest Santa Gertrudis show genetics... We believe superior bloodlines and pedigrees are essential for predicting the consistency and quality a female will grow to become when on feed and competing in the show-ring. All of our donors meet this standard of quality needed to compete and win in the show ring and beyond... Starting in 1992 with a small herd of commercial Santa Gertrudis cattle our son Todd began showing at local events in and around South Texas and Houston.
