FOOD-A-RAMA

It all started in 1958 when Chesley Midgett Jr. bought the market he worked at in Historic Downtown Manteo. Together with his wife Ruby, they ran the store for 20 years until they needed an upgrade. In 1978 Food-A-Rama moved to its current location on Highway 64 in Manteo. While Chesley has since retired, the store is still run by family with his daughter Jackie Parker running the business along with help from her three sons, Brandon, Cameron, & Dylan.
