Laurie Sherman

Laurie embarked on her journey at West Chester University, where she completed her undergraduate degree in Communicative Disorders. She then earned her Master's in Speech Language Pathology from Temple University. Over a decade of experience, she specializes in helping autistic children unlock their speech, language, and social communication potential. Her rich experience originates from her extensive work in Early Intervention and clinical practice, where she's been instrumental in lighting the path for countless families. Committed to her ongoing professional evolution, Laurie has pursued mentorship programs and additional education to further refine her approach to motor speech disorders. Rooted in the principles of Natural Language Acquisition, she embraces AAC within an authentic communication approach. She is certified in naturalistic developmental behavioral intervention (NDBI) approaches, including the SCERTS® Model and Project ImPACT™, enabling her to craft uniquely tailored strategies for each child. Laurie oversees Goldstar's ASD programming and Goldstar's speech-language pathologist clinical fellowship training program. When she's not championing for children's voices, Laurie recharges amidst the beauty of nature. An enthusiastic hiker and amateur gardener, she mirrors in her life what she values most in her work-the awe-inspiring beauty of growth and life.

Lisa Richards

Lisa has been a registered and licensed occupational therapist for over 35 years. Lisa has been a registered and licensed occupational therapist for over 35 years. She graduated from Elizabethtown College and has spent most of her career working with families and children in a variety of settings as both an interventionist and an evaluator. For the past 10 years, Lisa has served in leadership roles in the early intervention space and is currently an early intervention Program Coordinator. Lisa values providing high quality services to families and children and enjoys training and supporting other interventionists as they grow in their profession. She is especially enthusiastic about collaboration towards the betterment of EI service delivery, whether it be with colleagues, other provider agencies, or county leadership. In her leisure time, Lisa enjoys exploring local trails and cooking homemade soups. She enjoys a wide array of music and is active in the women's ministry at her church.

Rita Schwartz

Samantha Rosenberg

Samantha received her undergraduate degree from Cornell University and a master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Temple University. A lifelong Philadelphian, Samantha is passionate about supporting children and families throughout the city. She currently serves as Clinical Supervisor overseeing Goldstar's Clinical Fellow program and supporting new therapists transitioning into early intervention. As a Project ImPACT certified therapist, she collaborates with families and therapists as they navigate the best ways to support social communication development in young children. In her free time, Samantha can usually be found driving to a dance studio or baseball field with her two children.
