JAY MORRIS

I spent my formative years initially in Wellington and then later in Dunedin with a year in between travelling overseas when I was 11. Having concluded my Bachelor of Arts at Otago University I moved to London for three years. During this time I became interested in psychotherapy and studied existential psychotherapy at Birkbeck University in London. In 2002 I moved to Auckland to begin studying psychotherapy at Auckland University of Technology where I received a Grad Dip Psych and MHSc with 1st Class Honours... I began working as a psychotherapist in 2004 and was employed at a tertiary institute in South Auckland for 6 years before transitioning into private practice in 2007. I have been working in private practice in the Mt Eden/Epsom area for the past 8 years. In my practice I work with adults, couples, adolescents and families.
