Speech and language services at Keep Talking are provided by an ASHA certified and California board certified, licensed Speech Language Pathologist. Services include assessment, diagnosis, treatment and family/caregiver education in the areas of communication development. Direct therapy to children is provided in natural occurring settings: the home, community, integrated infant-toddler programs or day care environments per parent request. Direct intervention includes speech and language therapy to address delays, deficits and disorders involving pre-linguistic communication, non-verbal language, receptive and expressive language, and speech development. Methodologies utilized include relational intervention strategies, directional intervention strategies and blended strategies to facilitate speech development and remediation; and communication development.
