LCHS TECHNOLOGY

LCHS is a community anchor through The Illinois Century Network. This is a state program designed to bring high speed internet access to rural and underprivileged schools and community institutions throughout the state. This has given us an extremely robust internet connection, with a nearly limitless potential for growth... Limestone Community High School has a cutting edge computer network. We have a server hub connected to 8 switch closets throughout the building by fiber optic cabling. We also have 100 Meraki 802.11 AC wireless Access points throughout the building, giving us unparalleled wireless internet coverage. We have the capability to have thousands of devices simultaneously connected to our network on either a wired or wireless connection...
