LAURA SAUNDERS

Laura graduated from The University of South Carolina with a degree in Political Science in 2001 and obtained her Juris Doctor from the Charleston School of Law in 2009. In law school, Laura was a member of the Federal Courts Law Review and the Honor Council. Prior to law school, Laura worked in sales, politics and eventually in state government for the Governor's Office of Constituent Services from 2003-2006. During her years with the Governor's Office, she learned the importance of advocacy for the people of South Carolina. This experience, along with her father's influence, gave her the motivation to seek a law degree... After law school, Laura clerked for The Honorable Roger Couch, Circuit Court Judge in Spartanburg, SC and worked for a medical malpractice defense firm in Charleston, SC.
