Our role is to provide a court service for owners of Māori land, their whānau and their hapū to promote the retention and use of Māori land & facilitates the occupation, development and use of that land... Pātaka Whenua is replacing Māori Land Information System (MLIS) in May 2023. Our new system is an online hub where landowners and court users can find information about their whenua, communicate with the Court directly, and track the progress of their applications... We want to hear from you! We are surveying people who have engaged with the Māori Land Court to better understand the experience of people using our court. Your feedback helps us know if our services meet your needs and standards we have set ourselves.
