Dr. Derek Chen

Dr. Derek Chen obtained his Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Adelaide, Australia. After working in the sunny beaches in Sydney and Newcastle, Dr. Chen relocated to Toronto in 2021 to be with his fiancé. Patients of all ages and needs often enjoy seeing Derek for his gentle and calming manner, and patience while delivering a comfortable experience in the chair. Dr. Chen is passionate about all aspects of dentistry, from preventative care, restoring and retaining teeth, through to cosmetic dentistry and crowns. In his free time, Derek enjoys baking bread, running, swimming and is always looking for an excuse to get out for landscape photography.

Dr. Paul Sirek

Dr. Paul Sirek received his Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from McMaster University and a Master of Science degree in Clinical Anatomy at Western University. Dr. Sirek completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Toronto. To make dental visits more relaxing for our Midtown Dental patients, Dr. Sirek has completed a moderate sedation certification! Dr. Sirek also has experience as a Clinical Instructor at the University of Toronto Dental School! Dr. Sirek enjoys spending time with his wife and son, skiing, hiking, cooking, and traveling.

Dr. Ron Zohar

Dr. Ron Zohar obtained his Bachelor in Medical Science from the Faculty of Medicine, Ben Gurion University, Israel. He completed his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry degree in 1987 from Tel-Aviv University where he joined the teaching staff of the Department of Prosthetic Dentistry shortly after his graduation. Dr. Zohar started his post-graduate training in Periodontology at Tel-Aviv University and went to the University of Toronto in 1994 to take part in a PhD/Clinical periodontology program, in which he completed in 1998. In 2000, he joined the fellowship of the Royal College of Dentists of Canadian Periodontology. Dr. Zohar returned to Toronto in 2002 to take on a full time role at the University of Toronto where he was active in clinical training as well as building a clinically translational research. He also served as an examiner for the Royal College of Dentists of Canada in Periodontics. Dr. Zohar's clinical work is focused on Regenerative Periodontology and Implant therapy.
