The miracle berry, or Synsepalum dulcificum, is a fruit native to West Africa. Eating miracle berries causes sour foods such as lemons and limes to taste sweet. The effect lasts between ten minutes to an hour. The berry is 100% natural and has no known side effects other than its temporary sweetening ability.
