Christine Robitaille

Christine moved to Huntsville in 2022 after finishing her Bachelor of Performing Arts at Atlantic Technological University in Ireland. She also studied Music Theatre Performance at St. Clair College in Windsor, Ontario where she studied voice under Heather Davies and Peggy Dwyer. Christine has always loved teaching and began pursuing teaching acting and voice in February of 2022. She's always been a performer and feels passionate about sharing her love of singing and performing with the community. Now she offers acting and singing lessons, and in September will be starting to teach at Muskoka Music Centre. Christine has plenty of experience in the theatre world and also in the film and television industry and is so excited to share her knowledge with her students and future students.

Judy Freeman

Judy Freeman, our Owner / Centre Director has led the Leading Note Family Music Studio in Parry Sound for over 35 years. Judy took on the leadership at the Muskoka Music Centre in Huntsville in 2019 and runs both locations concurrently. Both Centres aim to make quality music education accessible and fun for all ages.

Oscar Finn

Meet Oscar Finn, a passionate and talented musician who will be joining our music school as a guitar instructor in September. With over a decade of experience in playing the guitar, Oscar brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our students. From a young age, Oscar's love for music has been evident. He started strumming his first chords on the guitar at the age of 7 and hasn't put it down since. Over the years, he has honed his skills in various genres, from rock to metal, jazz, and blues. In September 2022 Oscar was accepted to Humber College's Music program in Toronto, where he is studying to complete his Bachelor of Music degree. Oscar's teaching style is warm, patient, and encouraging, creating a supportive learning environment for his students. He believes in tailoring his lessons to each individual's goals and interests, ensuring that they stay motivated and inspired throughout their musical journey. Apart from his guitar prowess, Oscar is also well-versed in music theory and composition, which allows him to guide students in understanding the intricacies of music and how to create their own melodies and songs. When he's not teaching or performing, Oscar enjoys composing his own music and collaborating with fellow musicians.

Richard Hay

Throughout his musical education, Richard has had the privilege to study the guitar under the guidance of esteemed teachers Jonathan Earp, Louis Trepanier, Philip Candalaria, Dr. Alvin Tung and Dr. Metro Kozak. Each of his musical mentors have contributed to his technique, musicality and approach to teaching the instrument. Classically trained in guitar, with a background in education, Richard enjoys teaching all genres and sharing his passion for music with others. A real team player, Richard is excited to offer his expertise and experience to the Muskoka Music Centre.
