NORTH STAR - Key Persons

Rick Johnson started North Star Window Cleaning in 1975 when he was still a student at the University of Colorado in Boulder. Rick majored in small business management and graduated in 1976. The only thing he knew as a college student was that he didn't want to work for a large corporation and be just another cog in the wheel. Window washing seemed to be a good fit with this goal and over the decades he positioned North Star as a trusted business building many great relationships along the way. The North Star team is made up of many window cleaners and each of them is a courteous, detail oriented and professional. Rick's son, Terry, also helps run the business and has cleaned windows for many years starting out as a summer job in high school. In fact, Terry has just taken over the family business as with Rick's retirement in 2019. Also Karen, our office manager plays an crucial role and helps run the business.
