Daniel J. Orlando

Dan works largely with entrepreneurs, small and medium size business owners, real estate investors, and individuals to help them achieve their professional and personal goals. In his time as an attorney, Dan has helped clients open and develop numerous businesses, and guided clients on countless mergers and acquisitions, contract drafts and negotiations, and real estate transactions ranging from several thousands of dollars to tens of millions of dollars in size. Dan also has extensive experience in the areas of estates and civil litigation. Dan prepares estate plans and probates estates for his clients, and has successfully settled, tried, and argued cases and appeals on his clients' behalf. Dan is currently admitted to practice before the State trial and appellate courts in Ohio, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio, and the U.S. 6th Circuit Court of Appeals. Dan completed law school in just two and a half years and ranked first overall in his class. He then scored in the 100th Percentile on the February 2018 Ohio Bar Exam. Prior to law school, Dan obtained a degree in corporate finance from the Fisher College of Business at the Ohio State University. While in law school, Dan served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Kathleen B. Burke in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio. Dan also served as an editor of the Akron Law Review, Secretary and Treasurer of the Sports and Entertainment Law Society, and as an Academic Success Program Fellow in Contracts and Civil Procedure II. He was an advocate in the 2017 ABA National Moot Court Competition in Philadelphia, PA, and received the Outstanding Advocate Award in Akron Law's 2017 Summer Trial Academy. Outside of his practice, Dan enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter and being active and outdoors. Dan especially enjoys biking and is a blue belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Jacquenette S. Corgan

Before representing the State of Ohio in defending against criminal appeals, writs, and motions for various forms of postconviction relief, and representing Summit County Children Services in appeals from child abuse, dependency, and neglect actions, Corgan was a solo practitioner who focused on appellate advocacy, civil rights litigation (including First Amendment matters), employee-side employment matters, and general civil litigation. At Weisensell, Mastrantonio & Orlando, LLP Corgan resumes practicing in those areas of law. After graduating with honors from the University of Akron School of Law in 2000, Corgan became an Attorney Editor for West Publishing in Cleveland, where she edited major portions of the Baldwin's Ohio Practice series of treatises. She left West in early 2002 to become an Associate with the plaintiff's-side boutique employment firm of Thompson & Bishop in Akron, and in 2005 became an Associate in The Law Office of Warner Mendenhall, Inc. Corgan began practicing on her own in the fall of 2009. She has been licensed in Ohio since 2000. Corgan has also been admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Southern districts of Ohio, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, and the Supreme Court of the United States. She is a member of the Akron Bar Association; the Charles F. Scanlon-Judge Samuel H. Bell Inn of Court; the Summit County Association for Justice; and American Mensa.

William H. Corgan

William H. Corgan joined the office of Weisensell, Mastrantonio & Orlando, LLP. in August of 2021. Before moving his office there, he was with the firm of Emershaw, Mushkat & Schneier where he worked with George Emershaw focusing on personal injury litigation. Corgan began working as a law clerk and paralegal for Emershaw fresh out of high school. He attended The University of Akron and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and then continued at Akron for his law degree. After graduating from The University of Akron School of Law in 2001, Corgan became an attorney in Emershaw's firm.
