Dr. Nicoleta Suciu is an environmental engineer, title obtained in 2007 from Transilvania University of Brasov (Romania) and her expertise includes analytical chemistry techniques and modelling of chemicals fate in the environment and humans. Since 2017, Dr. Nicoleta Alina Suciu is researcher at the Department for Sustainable food process of Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore (Piacenza, Italy). She obtained the PhD title in 2010 in Chemistry, Biochemistry and Ecology of Pesticides from the Faculty of Agriculture of Universitá degli Studi di Milano, Italy. For one year (2010) she joined the Plant Protection Products and them Residues Unit of European Food Safety Authority (EFSA), in Parma (Italy). Currently, her research is mainly focused on the fate of pesticides in the environment and water management in agriculture. She has participated in numerous national and international conferences and workshops. She has collaborated in the organization of several national and international scientific meetings. She is the author and co-author of 29 articles and 8 book chapters indexed by SCOPUS and three books.
