Jim Poe co-founded Radius Partners and works closely with client company boards, investors and CEOs to attract leaders for CEO, C-suite and functional VP-level positions. He has more than two decades of experience in the retained search business, all of which has been focused in the technology industry across industrial tech, energy, software, connected devices (IoT) and enterprise infrastructure segments. His work with client companies includes experience with VC- backed early stage businesses through mid-market private and publicly traded corporations to well-established global enterprises. He works closely with his clients to develop and execute search strategies to attract the best possible talent for their assignments, never merely the best available talent.
Jim brings a thoughtful, thorough, and patient manner to his client engagements as required to help define key responsibilities and requirements given the specific needs of the business, and has a keen ability to listen and understand the nuances of each client and their mission.
Prior to Radius, Jim spent ten years as a Partner with Polachi/Access Search Partners. Previously, he led Nagler, Robins & Poe for 9+ years as an owner, and earlier was a Vice President with Fenwick Partners, one of the first technology industry boutique firms, later acquired by Heidrick & Struggles.
Jim lives in Medfield, Massachusetts with his wife Jayne, where they have raised their two children. He is an instrument-rated private pilot, an avid runner, and enjoys spending free time in warmer months on the coast of Maine.

Mario Alosco co-founded Radius Partners with more than 25 years of experience in retained executive search. He works closely with his client companies and their boards to build winning leadership teams on behalf of Corporate and Private Equity/Venture Capital Investors. Mario's practice includes clients in IoT, Software, Urban Technology, Energy and Industrial Technology sectors. Mario has completed over 300 assignments for CEO, C-Suite and functional VP level positions in Sales, Business Development, Marketing and Engineering. His collaborative style and industry experience make him a proven partner to many of his clients that use him exclusively.
Prior to Radius, Mario was a partner with Mainstay Partners, a Boston based Private Equity and Venture Capital boutique firm. He was also a senior executive at Acterna Corporation (f.k.a. Dynatech) where he recruited for CEO positions as well as recruiting to create high performance senior management teams for the Corporation's 45 world-wide portfolio companies. At Acterna Mario created the Corporation's in house Retained Executive Search and Talent Development functions. Acterna was named one of the Boston Globe's "Best Companies to Work for in Massachusetts" for several years. Mario was also involved in merger and acquisition activities assessing leadership teams during due diligence.
Mario has been a valued advisor to Boards and CEO's and served as an Independent Director and Board Secretary of Valpey Fisher Corporation (Nasdaq:VPF) until the successful sale of the company to CTS Corporation (NYSE: CTS).
Mario's most rewarding efforts come as a volunteer and advisor to the Pine Street Inn, the largest resource for homeless men and women in New England. He has supported an intensive program that helps people with substance abuse and criminal history re-enter the work force and develop new attitudes for living.
Mario graduated from Hartwick College and studied Organizational Dynamics at Boston University.
Mario is determined to be a golfer and is an avid soccer player and coach. He enjoys spending free time with his family in Kennebunkport, Maine.
