Akin Adekeye - Chief Legal Officer, SVP

Akin Adekeye is SVP & General Counsel at Quickbase, is responsible for leading the legal function. He has more than 20 years of experience representing a variety of organizations, including technology companies navigating the legal landscape as they scale. Prior to joining Quickbase, Akin served as General Counsel at 4 Over International, a wholesale trade printer, and led the legal and business development teams at Innovative Interfaces. Akin has worked on in-house legal teams across industries, including roles at Microsoft, Wolters Kluwer, Caradigm and more. Before his in-house experience, Akin began his legal career at Clifford Chance focused on capital markets; he actually started his career as a software engineer. Outside of work, Akin serves as co-founder and director of the non-profit organization Community Based Development Partners, focused on providing health and education support to rural communities in Nigeria. Akin holds a bachelor's degree with a dual major in Computer Engineering and Computer Science from the University of Bridgeport, an MBA and master's in Strategic Management from Indiana University's Kelley School of Business, and a J.D. from the Howard University School of Law.

Ed Jennings - CEO

Ed Jennings joined Quickbase as chief executive officer in May 2020 and has a proven track record of accelerating enterprise growth for SaaS leaders. His unique strengths combine innovative market strategies, velocity sales leadership, and extraordinary team building. Prior to joining Quickbase, Ed was chief operating officer at Mimecast, where he was responsible for the global marketing, sales and services teams and helped bring the company public in 2015. Under his leadership, Mimecast expanded its footprint into the enterprise space, grew its annual revenue from $82M to over $400M in four years, and scaled the team from 350 employees to 1,800, while expanding offices internationally. In addition to his recent role at Mimecast, Ed has held marketing leadership roles at PTC and Veracode; at the latter, he defined the go-to-market strategy that enabled the company to quadruple revenues during his nearly four-year tenure. Veracode was sold to Computer Associates in 2017. He also has served as CEO for SaaS workflow solution Copanion that was acquired by Drake Software in 2010. Ed is on the advisory board of Ten Eleven Ventures and the Cyber Resilience Think Tank. He is a regular speaker on a range of digital transformation and technology topics at Gartner, Forrester and FS-ISAC conferences. Jon Kennedy - CTO

Jon brings more than two decades of experience building technical organizations to help companies successfully grow. Prior to Quickbase, he was at Amazon Web Services, where he led the development, launch, and growth of a new data and migration service, AWS DataSync. While at AWS he also managed all aspects of software development and operations for the AWS Storage Gateway Volume/Tape Service. Prior to that, he served as Vice President of Software Development at SimpliVity, the leader in hyperconverged infrastructure until it was acquired by Hewlett Packard Enterprise, where he was responsible for the development, release, and delivery of the Simplivity's OmniStack software. Jon was also a Director of Engineering at Sepaton, acquired by Hitachi Data Systems, and a Technical Staff member at the MIT Lincoln Laboratory. Jon has a B.S. in Physics from the Worcester Polytechnic Institute as well as a master's degree in Physics from Boston University.

Prior to Quickbase, Josh was with Stage 2 Capital, a venture capital firm focused on early-stage technology companies, as a Limited Partner since its founding in 2018. Josh has led sales teams at some of the world's most renowned and rapidly expanding tech firms, helping drive their explosive growth. As Drift's inaugural CRO, he established a sales team that spearheaded the company's most substantial growth years, escalating annual recurring revenue (ARR) from $20 million to $60 million within two years, culminating in the company's acquisition by Vista Equity Partners. While at CarGurus, Josh drove revenue growth from $120 million to $440 million, ultimately aiding in the company's initial public offering in 2017. Over his 10-year tenure at LogMeIn, he was part of the company's evolution from a modest $3 million ARR startup to a publicly traded enterprise with $360 million in revenue. Shannon Bracken joined Vista Equity Partners in 2015. Shannon currently works with the firm's investments in EagleView, Mindbody, Numerator, Pluralsight, Salesloft, Quickbase and Vivid Seats. Sherri has been championing the employee experience at fast-growing organizations, both private and public, for more than 20 years. She spent 12 years at Forrester, most recently serving as CPO, where she evolved the Employee Experience practice into an empathetic, data-driven, transparent, and trusted partner to the business. During her time in this role, she led the COVID-19 response, designed a fully reconstructed flex work program, and established Forrester's Diversity & Inclusion vision and strategy, including standing up their first employee-led and exec-sponsored D&I council. He joined Quickbase from Momentus Technologies, where he served as CFO. Prior to Momentus, Tim was a member of the portfolio operations team at Cove Hill Partners, a private equity firm focused on technology businesses with $4.5 billion in commitments. He has also held finance leadership roles with OpsGenie (now part of Atlassian) as CFO, and Turbonomic (now part of IBM) as vice president of Finance. He started his career as a consultant for both Bain & Company and Analysis Group. Tim holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
