RECOVERY TECHNOLOGY

Recovery Technology was founded in 2002 by Greg Gallagher. His intention was to start a private counseling practice where he could "help a few people." Initially, he specialized in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). He quickly had more clients than he could manage alone, so he hired more staff. Greg didn't want to just hire any staff. He wanted to hire staff that were as passionate as he was about helping people who suffered from mental illness. The more staff he hired, the more referrals came in. Seeing the need for additional types of mental health treatment in the Jackson area, Greg decided to expand into other areas. He added "Moral Reconation Therapy," which evolved into our current Domestic Violence and Anger Management Programs. This program helps participants learn to eliminate violent, abusive and controlling behaviors from their relationships and contributes to ending the cycle of domestic violence...
