RICK ROARK

Rick Roark has served on the teaching, research and clinical faculties of academic medical centers and engineering universities in Colorado, Texas and New York for many years. He has more than 90 peer-reviewed publications, international conference presentations, and book chapters on topics of medicine, neuroscience, physiology, mathematics, engineering, and renewable energy. He has served as Principal or Co-Investigator of 16 research and education grants funded by the National Institutes of Health, National Science Foundation, state agencies, and private industry. He lectures and consults internationally. He is one of the forerunners of the solar energy industry in the US with his company designing active solar heating systems for many hundreds of homes and businesses in the Southwestern US.
