Spirit of Adventure is an outdoor leadership centre based at Shongweni Dam, which is located between Durban and Pietermaritzburg. Spirit of Adventure was started in 1994 by Andy Telfer. The purpose of Spirit of Adventure is is to develop the potential of people, conveying modern leadership theory, personal development and team building using the medium of the outdoors. In 2005 Rudi Clark took over having already worked with Andy since 2000. Spirit of Adventure continues to be a leader in leadership development and a popular venue for schools, youth groups and corporates... Specialising in overnight courses, day trips or courses at your school, we have been conducting leadership, personal development and team building events for students from Grade 1 to Tertiary level.
