Anthony A. Sheffy

Tony Sheffy is the founding partner of Sheffy, Mazzaccaro, DePaolo & DeNigris, L.L.P. Tony is an experienced personal injury attorney who has tried cases for individuals, business and insurance companies since 1988. He focuses on helping those who have suffered trauma to the brain and other life altering injuries caused by the negligence of a person or corporation. Mr. Sheffy represents clients in the greater Hartford, New Haven and Southington areas. Over his 35 years of practice, he has enjoyed exceptional success in his many jury trials. Tony has been selected for inclusion in Connecticut Super Lawyers® every year since 2011. He has been named to the list of Top Attorneys in Connecticut since 2013 and Top Attorneys in New England since 2016. He publishes a regular column in the Southington Magazine, and is the founder and editor of Recovery Magazine. Tony participates in many local civic organizations within the community. He is former president of the Southington United Way and Southington Chamber of Commerce. He has served on the Board of the Brain Injury Alliance of Connecticut. Tony is a founding director of the Southington Education Foundation, Inc., and he is presently serving as an executive board member for the Southington YMCA and the Charter Oak State College Education Foundation. He was named the Person of the Year by the Southington YMCA in 2011, was awarded the Southington Chamber of Commerce Chairman Award for service to the community in 2018, and the Partnership Award from the Brain Injury Alliance of Connecticut in 2019.

Kelly Grey

Kelly Grey joined the firm in 2009. She is a graduate of Central Connecticut State University (B.A. Psychology and B.A. Sociology, 1998), John Jay College of Criminal Justice (M.A. Forensic Psychology, 2000), and the University of Connecticut School of Law (J.D., 2009). Attorney Grey has extensive experience in personal injury litigation, worker's compensation, insurance defense, and landlord-tenant matters. She is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association and the Connecticut Trial Lawyer's Association, and was recognized as a Rising Star by SuperLawyers. Attorney Grey is admitted to practice in Connecticut state court as well as the U.S. District Court of Connecticut. She has tried numerous cases to conclusion, and has argued before the Appellate Court. Attorney Grey resides in Goshen, Connecticut with her husband and their two beloved bulldogs, Rosie and Mike. She is a member of the Woodridge Lake Property Owner's Association, serving on multiple committees. She enjoys reading, boating, and riding motorcycles.
