Spectra-Mapal was founded in June 2005 as a joint venture with German based company Mapal Präzisionswerkzeuge. Since its inception Spectra-Mapal has been operating from premises located in Atlantis, Western Cape... Spectra-Mapal is proud to be part of the local manufacturing industry and our purpose is to prosper through our efforts to improve the productivity and profitability of our customers... Spectra-Mapal specialises in the design and manufacture of Tungsten Carbide cutting tools including drills, milling cutters, reamers as well as non-standard indexable carbide inserts. Spectra-Mapal also offers the services of regrinding, modification and re coating of HSS and Tungsten Carbide cutting tools. All work is carried out according to high dimensional and strict quality standards.
