David jointly founded the Matrix Group, a UK based financial services group of businesses. These include Property, Asset Management, Investment Banking and Specialized Finance. The property division is a leading acquirer of new build commercial property in the UK. He has also held a number of directorships in companies like VCTs, investment brokers and real estate development business.

Professor Gunnar Westin (Ph.D. 1995, Docent 1998) pioneered the sol-gel processing in Sweden during the late 80:s at Stockholm University, and moved his group to Uppsala University in the year 2000.
Already from the start he has been involved in many industry collaborations as bilateral projects or in larger projects financed partly by e.g. Vinnova and SSF, and until now some 20 companies (or divisions in companies) have collaborated. Some processes have been up-scaled to pilot plant (e.g. ZnO varistor, Solar thermal coatings with S-solar) or large scale manufacture (Superior hard compact composites) or their faith is unknown after positive tests by industry (e.g. KNN piezoelectric films). Westin has worked part time at ABB Corporate research and is internationally quite renown in his field and has given over 70 Invited and Keynote talks at the most prestigious conferences around the world as well as 50 invited seminars at leading Universities around the world such as UC Berkeley, U. Princeton, MIT, UCLA, Stanford, IBM Almaden, U. Osaka, Tokyo U., Tokyo U. Science, Tsinghua U., Shanghai Jiaotong U., Fudan U., Nanyang Technological U. and been and elected member of the International Sol-Gel Society 2004-2009.
Westin is also co-founder, co-director and adjunct professor of the International research center fro renewable energy at Xian Jiaotong University in China and Director of the center for functional materials at the newly established Institute for New Energy, Shenzhen, China which develops ideas and patents to companies.

Since 2007, Klas has been the key owner and CMD of S-Solar. He is active on several boards and is an advisor to the European and global solar industry and associations. Klas has also managed and invested in several renewable energy companies with focus on energy efficiency and the renewable industry. His background is from the financial services industry, where he worked with several IPO cases. He has extensive international experience as a senior partner of Accenture for more than 15 years and held several director positions including the global leadership team for the financial services industry. Klas was also the President for NASDAQ/OMX international business of technology and operations of more than 50 stock exchanges. During his time at NASDAQ/OMX he was focused in developing the business in Asia, Australia and the US, with key stock exchanges. Klas has extensive management experience and professional background and documented experience from various industries and countries.
Mr Lashgari has during the last 15 years worked in R&D in industrial and academic projects in the field of ceramics and metals. (mer…)

Ola Thoren, today COO Ikea factories in the US; has been the Operations Director and COO within S-Solar 2009-2012 and has former positions as Managing Director within West Baltic Components, today a China based manufacturer, Site manager within Hellmer Industries, a leading Swedish manufacturer, and Global project manager within Sony Ericsson. He has over 15 years of experience within manufacturing and supply chain management, not only in Europe but also in China and the U.S. He has an extensive experience within lean production, manufacturing processes, both in the electro mechanics area as well as sheet metal and aluminum die casting along with chemical treatment processes. As responsible within Flextronics for transferring operations between different countries, he has also gathered experience in working within and transferring between different cultures.

Rupert is a chartered accountant and an experienced investor. He is the founder of numerous businesses in a broad spectrum of activities, and has a broad experience from IPO processes. Rupert has spent the last 25 years founding and building businesses in the medical, energy, information, finance, and media sectors - including co-founding and chairing a multi-billion Euro trans-European energy business which he sold 2007. He remains active in all these sectors and in addition is currently focused on creating and delivering literacy programs in both the Developed and Developing World.
