In addition to the above requirements, we choose to have our own breeding dogs undergo an Echocardiogram (heart testing) and be deemed to be clear of any heart disease. We screen against BOAS (Brachycephalic Obstructive Airways Syndrome) and x-ray tibial plateau angles omitting dogs from our breeding program that have TPAs that are deemed by a vet specialist to potentially have a genetic predisposition for CCL disease. We also conduct full DNA profiling so as to eliminate all identified genetic diseases in the breed... Also, as depicted in the above video, we are a huge advocate of taking our dogs out into the community and demonstrating to the public how social, well trained, easy to handle and biddable they are.
