Speech By Design is a locally owned company servicing families and schools in the city of New Orleans and surrounding areas since 2008. Our skilled team consists of board certified and state licensed therapists... Speech by Design aims to provide essential communication strategies to modify or eliminate undesired behaviors and attitudes which inhibit individuals from reaching their optimal potential... SBD provides early intervention services for families of infants and toddlers (birth to 36 months) who qualify for speech therapy services. Our team members are listed as providers under the Louisiana Early Steps program. Early Steps is its own comprehensive, coordinated program which allows us to provide therapy services in the child's natural environment (e.g. home, daycare, or community center). Our services are in place to provide support and build skills of the caregivers and family members. Ultimately creating an environment that enhances language development.
