Sri Panicker has been associated with the State Drugs Control Enforcement Officer's Association and the All India Drugs Control Officers' Confederation as its office bearer till his retirement from Service. He had also served as Principal of a Pharmacy College while in the service of Govt of Kerala. He finally retired from the Medical college, Thiruvananthapuram in Oct 2008. Immediately after retirement Sri Panicker was enrolled as an Advocate in the High Court of Kerala. In July 209 he had joined as the Director, School of Medical education , MG University. This assignment was also unique in that it was for the first time that a Pharmacy professional was appointed as Director of an Institute of Medical Education. Sri Panicker had participated in more than 300 scientific seminars, acted as resource person for various Departments in Govt. and other organizations. He had also delivered talks in All India radio and the TV Medias. Sri Panicker has completed his PhD in Pharmacy and had taken MA(Public Administration) from Kerala University. He is currently doing PGHDR(Post Grduate Diploma in Human Rights) at Indian Institute of Human Rights and MA(Philosophy). The Kerala Legal Services Authority had selected Sri Panicker as a Member in the Permanent LOk Adalat, Thiruvananthapuram, considering his experience in the Health sector and also his knowledge in law. The Permanent Lok Adalat is a judicial forum constituted under the Legal Services Authority Act 1987 and is having both conciliatory and adjudicatory powers. It mainly deals with the problems faced by the Public, in public utility services like Water, electricity, transport, Post & Telegraph, Insurance, hospital claims and Accident claims. The Permanent Lok Adalat is a forum to quickly settle the issues thus delivering justice to the aggrieved, thereby avoiding the usual delay in Civil and Criminal Courts. Panicker is also the Kerala Govt. nominee ( member) to PHARMACY COUNCIL OF INDIA and American Association of College of Pharmacies, Baltimore, USA. Panicker is also an Expert in the Technical Resource Group constituted under the Department of AIDS Control by Govt. of India . Panicker had travelled extensively in India and had worked in UAE and toured sSingapore. He is having lot of friends across the Globe It is the will and dedication to help the poor that paved the way for the birth of SOLACE MISSION, of which Panicker is the Managing Trustee.
