Anne began her career as a professional dancer and actress. She received her undergraduate degrees in Theatre Studies and Dance from Emerson College and her MFA in Acting from the University of California, Davis. As an educator her area of expertise is teaching Movement for Actors. She continues to teach those courses in higher education and private schools around the PA/MD/DC region.
Anne first transitioned into private practice when she enrolled at the Laban Institute of Movement Studies (LIMS) in NY, NY to become a Certified Movement Analyst (CMA). The Laban language is both a way of seeing clients more clearly, and a doorway through which to guide them in personal exploration and growth. She works with clients to achieve more movement efficiency, to break unhealthy patterns, and to create healthful body mechanics. The way an individual moves is the way they learn and function in the world. Anne's specialty is exploring those patterns by integrating the LIMS work with exercises on the Pilates Reformer. Anne is a certified Pilates instructor through Balanced Body®.
Anne is a member of the American Association of Drugless Practitioners (AADP) and The International Somatic Movement Educators and Therapists Association (ISMETA). Last but not lease, Anne is married to (se)® Founder Douglas Bertram, and mother to their daughters Gwen and Andi Pearl.
Doctor Brian C. Hanlon D.Ac, L.Ac., began his acupuncture journey as a result of a significant traffic accident, he had suffered injuries to his ankle and spine that ended his supply chain career. Connor's background includes four years of Division 1 collegiate baseball athletic training experience, as well as experience working with MLB, NFL, and other Division 1 athletes. A former athlete himself, he relates well with his patients no matter what their sport or activity may be. Connor is passionate about helping others and is excited to partner with you to help you achieve your movement goals. In his spare time, Connor enjoys activities with his dog, fishing, and cheering on his favorite sports teams.
Connor has graduated with a Masters in Health and Human Physiology. With athletic training experience in D1 collegiate baseball, as well as the MLB, NFL, and other Division 1 colleges, he relates well with his patients no matter what their sport or activity may be.

David has been working with orthopedic injury and wellness for over 15 years. He began his studies at the University of Maryland and later he earned his Physical Therapy Assistant degree from Carroll Community College. His work as a PTA has allowed him to work alongside some of the best in orthopedic rehabilitation and sports injury management. David went on to study at the Central Maryland School of Massage to give him the freedom to work with patients in a preventative and holistic capacity. Blending his years of professional experience with his passion for athletics and sports injury management, David was a natural fit to join the Structural Elements® team.

Douglas is the owner of Structural Elements®. He has been assessing and treating orthopedic disorders for more than fifteen years. He completed a four-year medical program in Traditional Eastern Medicine at Five Branches University in Santa Cruz, California in order to become a Nationally Certified Diplomate of Oriental Medicine from the NCCAOM and a Licensed Acupuncturist in the state of Maryland.
In addition to his private practice, Douglas is the founder of Structural Elements® Franchising, LLC. When away from the clinic you can find him out on the road training, as he is a 3x Ironman Triathlete and has completed numerous Ultramarathons of 50 and 100-mile distances. Whether you are an elite athlete or suffer from chronic pain, Douglas takes the same great pride in working with all populations.

Dr. Michael Day is a physician whose practice focuses on longevity, healthspan, and sports performance. Dr. Day completed his undergraduate studies in Classical Languages at Georgetown University, where he graduated summa cum laude. He holds a master's degree in Greek and Latin Languages and Literature from Oxford University. He attended Weill Cornell Medical College and completed a residency in orthopaedic surgery at the NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases. He then completed a fellowship in orthopaedic sports medicine at the Lenox Hill Hospital in New York, NY, where he worked with the team physicians for the New York Jets and the New York Islanders. Dr. Day is board-certified in orthopaedic surgery and sports medicine and is the author of numerous research publications in both fields. Though awed with the power of surgery to fix the broken, he was nonetheless unsatisfied with traditional medicine's inability to prevent disease and promote optimum performance. His current practice allows him to take a highly personalized approach to these aims for each of his patients.
Her love of sports and her competitive nature have kept her active since she was just 2 years old. During the week, you can find her in the gym, or playing volleyball. On the weekends, she's usually at a local brewery with her husband and their dog Wally, or spending time with her family.
Trained in Swedish and spa modalities, and excited to deepen his practice in the (se)® protocol, Jevin's experience ranges from musicians with chronic conditions to non-professional and professional athletes-including the Milwaukee Brewers and Green Bay Packers-who have relied on ongoing maintenance. When away from the clinic, Jevin enjoys river hikes with his fiancé, cheering on his favorite Wisconsin sports teams and further expanding his knowledge of health and wellness.

Kevan brings a passion for helping others, ten years of professional baseball athletic training experience, and working with athletes from the NFL and NBA to the (se)® Team. He enjoys the process of teaching patients how their body moves, and the connection that exists between dysfunction or imbalance in movement that can create pain and discomfort. When away from treating patients, Kevan enjoys studying at local coffee shops, walking and training his puppy, and playing golf.
Kevan is a practitioner and owner of our Structural Elements® Milwaukee clinic. He brings more than ten years experience working with professional athletes and is passionate about bringing major league services to his patients. He is also the co-host of The Candid Athletic Trainer podcast now in it's third season.
The owner, Kevan Creighton, is an Athletic Trainer with 14+ years of experience treating professional athletes. He has expanded on his Structural Elements® Orthopedic Wellness Clinic at 4529 N Oakland Ave with an elite performance staff, to the north shore community.
Luke has practiced in multiple clinical and private settings, and has worked with athletes at all levels from youth to professional, including his ongoing role as head of the preventive care/soft tissue in-house team for the Milwaukee Brewers. He aims to help share the (se)® approach with as many people as possible, so more lives can be impacted by the work. In addition to his practice, Luke is also Chief Brand Officer for Structural Elements Franchising, LLC and is integral in the growth of (se).
