Albert joined RBC Dominion Securities in 2007 bringing over 15 years of financial services experience with him. Prior to his role as a Portfolio Manager, Wealth Advisor & Financial Planner, he travelled across Canada as a consultant for RBC Dominion Securities, working with the top investment advisory teams to implement systems and solutions to better service clients. He has taken what he's learned from the very best and applied it to his own wealth management practice right here in Thunder Bay.
Albert believes in educating his clients on their options, while clarifying and simplifying what can be a confusing financial world. He has a wealth of knowledge and a team of experts that he can leverage to help his clients through every stage-from accumulating wealth to transferring wealth to the next generation.
His own education has been formative, and is firmly rooted in finance. He attended to the University of Toronto where he received a Bachelor of Commerce degree, and is continually taking industry training to ensure he is offering the best guidance to his clients. He has furthered this education and also holds the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) designations.
The CFP is the industry standard for financial planning and the most recognizable financial planning designation in Canada. It ensures that Albert understands the intricacies of a financial plan and includes consideration for taxation and legal aspects.

As an Investment and Wealth Advisor for RBC Dominion Securities, Brennen is committed to providing a personalized client experience and trusting relationships. He builds these relationships by working closely with each client to learn their unique story. Brennen offers a comprehensive planning approach centered around his client's overall well-being and long term aspirations which allows them to achieve the life they envision.
Brennen offers his personalized, tailored financial advice to individuals, families and businesses. He believes in a disciplined, conservative investment approach that leverages the best resources and specialists in the industry to allocate clients capital in the most efficient way. His practice is structured around the proven success of RBC Dominion Securities processes as well as implementing innovative planning strategies.
Born and raised in Kenora, Brennen now resides in Thunder Bay. He earned his Honours Bachelor of Mathematics and Bachelor of Science in Economics from Lakehead University. While attending university he played for the Lakehead University Thunderwolves where he received the title of Academic All-Canadian as a member of the team.
Outside of work, Brennen enjoys spending time outdoors with family and friends. He also stays active playing hockey, golfing, hunting and fishing.

As a Branch Operations Manager with RBC Dominion Securities, Jennifer Fontaine oversees the operations of the Thunder Bay branch, from day-to-day operations to special initiatives.
To excel in her role, Jennifer draws on her expert knowledge and 23 years of experience, including previous position as an Associate. A graduate of Confederation College, Jennifer obtained a diploma in Accounting and Finance. Devoted to continued education, she has completed her Canadian Securities Course along with her Conducts and Practices and her Personal Financial Planning course.
Jennifer was recently awarded with the Branch Operations Manager of the year for her group. She was chosen for this award by our senior management team in recognition of her tremendous contributions to our firm.

As a Branch Director with RBC Dominion Securities, Shawn Kunnas leads the Thunder Bay branch, offering the best support to the advisors and their teams, so they can offer the best service to you. He prides himself on identifying opportunities and resolving challenges strategically and speedily, and always has his ear to the ground for potential efficiencies and improvements. He also focuses on recruiting and coaching staff members.
To guide the Thunder Bay branch staff to success, Shawn draws on his expert knowledge and 27 years of experience. A graduate of Lakehead University, Shawn obtained a HBComm degree with a major in Finance & Accounting. A firm believer in ongoing education, he has acquired the advanced industry designations of CFP, CIM & FCSI.
