Andrew D'Amico

As Assistant Director for the Office of Sustainability, Andrew works to integrate sustainability and environmental justice into campus operations and strategy. He partners with administrative departments to identify and implement process improvements that advance Sustainability Action Plan Objectives. Andrew also leads the Office's performance measurement and reporting efforts, turning data into actionable insights that inform decision-making and optimize sustainability. He is a member of the Data Analytics Working Group and the Ivy+ Sustainability Consortium. Andrew is a project manager and data professional with experience in philanthropy and higher education. He's spent his career helping public service institutions activate their data to generate impact and advance their missions. Prior to Princeton Andrew served as a grants analyst at Bloomberg Philanthropies, where he managed philanthropic data, streamlined internal processes, and collaborated with nonprofit and city grantees. Andrew earned his MPA in Nonprofit Management and Policy and undergraduate degree from New York University. For his graduate capstone project Andrew traveled to Chile, and developed an impact measurement framework and funding strategy for early-stage Latin American social entrepreneurs. Andrew is a drummer and a record collector-his most played vinyl is Aretha Franklin's Young, Gifted, and Black. He once appeared on an award-winning comedy podcast hosted by a former Daily Show correspondent and NPR host, and the book he reads again and again is Cloud Atlas by David Mitchell.

Kitty Helm is a Postgraduate Sustainability Fellow focusing on student engagement. She serves as the liaison between the Office of Sustainability and the Office of the Dean of Undergraduate Students (ODUS). The focus of her collaborative role is to engage with student led clubs and organizations on their event planning and purchasing decisions. By engaging with student organization leaders, we can identify individual and community behaviors across Princeton that will help close the gaps sustainability and carbon neutrality goals following the Sustainability Action Plan objectives.

Matthew Brinn

Matt Brinn is the Communication and Engagement Manager in the Office of Sustainability. In this role, he oversees a number of projects to inspire undergraduate and graduate students to pursue policy change in the sustainability space across campus. Additionally, he promotes the groundbreaking research and practical application of Princeton's Sustainability Action Plan, which seeks to achieve net-zero carbon emissions by 2046. Background Prior to joining the Office of Sustainability, Matt was the Acting Associate Director of Outreach and Communications in the Office of State Affairs. Before that, he was a Constituent Advocate and Communications Director for the District Office of Assembly Majority Leader Louis Greenwald and Assemblywoman Pamela Lampitt in New Jersey's 6th Legislative District. In his role, Matt worked with a team of policy experts and constituent services specialists to advance legislation and match residents with programs and resources to improve their lives. Earlier in his career, Matt was the Recruitment Manager at Girl Scouts of Central & Southern NJ where he led a team of specialists in recruiting adult volunteer mentors to build girls of courage, confidence, and character who make the world a better place. Prior to that, as Corporate and Foundation Relations Coordinator and as a Community Development Specialist, Matt secured partnerships with local organizations to increase funding and provide programming opportunities in under-served areas. Matt holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History and Professional Writing from The College of New Jersey and lives with his wife, Melissa, and daughter, Penelope, in Cherry Hill, NJ.

Dr. Shana Weber is the founding director of Princeton University's Office of Sustainability and has cultivated organizational change via repeatable and scalable sustainability initiatives since 2006. Weber advances strategic actions across campus operational and academic systems toward realizing an ethos of sustainability in service to local and global communities. Her current research interests include climate-change driven population dynamics of the American pika (Ochotona princeps), ecoregional analysis, the application of behavioral science to sustainability decision-making, and collaborative applied sustainability research within and across academic institutions. Weber serves as a Board member for the municipal non-profit Sustainable Princeton, senior advisor to the NE Campus Sustainability Consortium, and senior leadership liaison for the Ivy+ Sustainability Consortium. Background Dr. Weber earned her BS in Zoology from the Ohio State University, and MSES and Ph.D. in Environmental Science from the Indiana University School of Public and Environmental Affairs, Bloomington.
