TEACHING FAMILY HOMES

is a non-profit organization that cares for troubled children and families. Teaching Family Homes was brought to Upper Michigan in 1981 to help troubled children and families in the region. Our private, non-profit organization began as a single residential group home serving just six children... Since that time, we have expanded our continuum of care to include a variety of in-home and residential treatment programs serving the needs of our community's youth and families... Currently we operate five residential group homes in Marquette and Newberry that serve youth from the state of Michigan. Our in-home programs serve thirteen of the fifteen Upper Peninsula counties.
