Ana Mejia

Ana Mejia is the Managing Director Health Programs at The Whole Child. She joined the organization in 2012 and has been an integral part of the growth of mental health services, including evidence-based programs and specialty services for children in the Child Welfare System. Ana oversees the mental health, nutrition, and parent enrichment departments. She has over 18 years of experience in working with children and families and has dedicated herself to improving the lives of others. Ana is also one of the agency's Managing and Adapting Practices (MAP) trainer. Since joining The Whole Child, she has trained 36 new clinicians and assisted over 35 clinicians in the recertification process. Over her 18 years of dedication to children and families she has developed and ran various programs for children and families, ranging from Wraparound to School-Based services. Ana advocates providing field-based services and meeting each client and family at the current stage in their healing journey. She reinforces the concept of "teaming" both within the organization and the community. "It is only through working together that we can make a difference," Ana explains. Ana holds a Master's degree in Social Work from California State University, Los Angeles. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of California, Santa Barbara, with a double major in Sociology and Spanish. Additionally, she is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Ana was born and raised in Los Angeles and enjoys road trips, the outdoors, and family time with her husband and three children.

Brittany Williams

Brittany Williams is the Program Director of the Service Coordination Unit of The Whole Child. She joined the organization in August of 2014 as a community-based therapist and has risen through the ranks to her current position. Brittany oversees the intake department to ensure clients receive timely services, reception, coordination of psychiatric services and therapists providing ongoing treatment for children and families. In addition, Brittany oversees other mental health programs including Multidisciplinary Assessment Team (MAT), Family Preservation (FP), and Managing and Adapting Practices (MAP) treatment model for agency. She is a certified MAP trainer for The Whole Child and assists clinicians certify in the practice. Brittany has over ten years of experience working within the mental health field. Brittany has a strong commitment to serving the community and ensuring children and families are able to access quality mental health services. Since joining the organization, she has been able to contribute to the agency's growth as a community-based therapist, intake assessor and clinical supervisor before her role as program director. Brittany holds an MA in Clinical Psychology with an Emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University, Malibu, CA and BS in Psychology from Xavier University of New Orleans, Louisiana. In addition, Brittany is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

Caesar Moreno is the Director of Quality Improvement and Training. He joined The Whole Child in January 2012 to enhance the services provided to the clients and families of the surrounding communities. Caesar continues to provide assistance and oversight to all employees of The Whole Child. He ensures that the agency remains in compliance with Federal, State, and County guidelines in honoring the rights of its clients, maintaining quality documentation, and ensuring that the organization maintains a best practice standard. Caesar has served in the role of Co-Chair of the SPA 7 Quality Improvement Committee for eight years where he has been able to advocate and inform other providers in the area about the information necessary to maintain quality services. Caesar has over 20 years of experience within the social services field, where he has worked with the older adult, LGBTQ+, adult chronically mentally ill, and child/adolescent communities. Caesar has remained passionate about ensuring that children, youth, and adults receive the services they need and that the staff feels supported when maintaining the quality of their work. Caesar is also committed to building a foundation for projects and plans that support a culture of improvement. Caesar has been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for approximately 20 years, obtained his Master of Social Work from the University of Southern California, and a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from California State University, Long Beach.

Christina Gallegos is the Senior Director of Facilities & Procurement at The Whole Child. She joined the organization in May of 2006. During her time with TWC, Christina has served the agency in different capacities but is currently responsible for facility space planning and build out of expanded facilities, day-to-day facility management, and all procurement for the agency. She thrives in driving positive change through leading initiatives that supports operational and expense management through standardization of people, processes, and technology. Christina has over 25 years of experience working within administration, operations, purchasing and project management. Constanza Pachon - CEO

Constanza Pachon is the Chief Executive Officer of The Whole Child. She joined the organization in January 2018 to build upon its then-60-year legacy of service excellence. Constanza oversees all matters of strategic planning, financial and operational management, fundraising, and communications. She also serves as the organization's spokesperson and chief liaison with the community, partners, donors, and funding agencies. Constanza is a strong advocate for social inclusion and equity and focuses on The Whole Child's role in the advancement of these causes. During her five-year tenure, she has led The Whole Child's team through a substantial expansion of the organization to further its impact. Since 2018, The Whole Child has more than tripled its revenues from $9M in 2018 to $31M in 2023, expanded its footprint in the Southeastern and San Gabriel regions of LA County, piloted the first mental health program in the county addressing early onset schizophrenia and psychosis in teens, opened its first shelter for unhoused families in 2019, opened its Family Access Center in 2022, and is now leading the development of a first-of-its-kind construction project that will provide shelter units, permanent supportive rentals, and ownership opportunities to families experiencing homelessness in LA County. Having experienced the trauma of homelessness as a child, the mission of The Whole Child is very close to Constanza's heart. As a woman of color and an immigrant, she identifies closely with the population the organization serves and strives to serve as a role model for The Whole Child's staff and clients. Constanza has over 20 years of experience growing mission-driven organizations. She is a highly regarded champion for numerous social and economic development initiatives both domestically and internationally. Prior to joining the Whole Child, Constanza was the President and COO of Larta Institute, a renowned high-tech venture accelerator with the mission of vastly improving the transition of science-based technologies into the market, where they dramatically improve people's lives. During her tenure at Larta, she led a nearly threefold increase in its revenues, reserves, programs, and staff; improved programs' reach and impact; and positioned the organization as a thought leader in its field. Constanza has also served as senior consultant for the InterAmerican Development Bank on matters of social innovation management, where she assisted the bank in the design of instruments for the development of thriving entrepreneurial ecosystems in Latin America. Additionally, Constanza has collaborated with other multilateral organizations such as the World Bank and the United Nations in the design of initiatives that create economic opportunities for violence-displaced communities. Constanza holds an MBA from The Anderson School of Management at the UCLA, and Master's and Bachelor's degrees in Economics from Javeriana University in her native country, Colombia. Faviola (Favi) Lopez, LCSW, is the School-Based Director of The Whole Child. She joined the organization in May 2009 as a Mental Health Therapist with the MAT program. In the last decade, Favi has risen through the ranks into supervisor roles prior to accepting her current position in 2017. In her role, she oversees a team of field therapists serving children to address behavioral and other mental health issues. She has created strong partnerships with school districts partnering with The Whole Child to facilitate linkage to agency services and provide onsite services and mental health resources.

Jennine Solorio

Jennine Solorio is the Senior Director of Housing Programs for The Whole Child. She joined the organization in February 2018 as Director of Housing Navigation to build upon Regional Coordination and further enhance Client Service engagement and delivery in Service Planning Area 7. Jennine now oversees all housing services for the organization and ensures that contractual obligations are fulfilled. During her time with The Whole Child she has supported the establishment of Safe Families Interim Housing and Intensive Case Management Services. Additionally, she has strengthened policies for the housing department. Jennine has over five years of experience working in the social service sector. Jennine is passionate about ensuring families have access to housing services and that staff feel supported while providing housing services to their client base. As a social work intern, Jennine co-facilitated Domestic Violence support groups and Early Development classes for Pre-K and Kinder students. Jennine has also played an active role in promoting higher education amongst elementary and middle school-age children by working with Early Education programs. Jennine holds a Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Southern California. A Bachelor's Degree from California State University San Marcos in Sociology with an emphasis in Youth, Children, and Families. She enjoys giving back to the community by volunteering her time at the Los Angeles Food Bank and supporting first-generation college students with their college applications. Jeremy Goldstein recently joined The Whole Child as Director of Communications and Community Engagement to tell the story of this groundbreaking organization that identified mental health and wellness for children as a high priority over six decades ago. Now that The Whole Child has incorporated family housing, parent enrichment, and nutrition education services, the mission to serve children and families holistically provides the perfect opportunity to broaden the agency's outreach efforts and pitch The Whole Child has a standard-setter, envelope-pusher, and thought-leader in these spaces. Jeremy has over twenty years of experience in marketing and communications for nonprofits, beginning with a decade of working with performing arts and arts education organizations in both Boston - where he is originally from - and in Los Angeles, his adopted home since 2008. For Center Theatre Group, he managed marketing campaigns for large-scale touring and original musicals at the Ahmanson Theatre as well as new boundary-pushing fringe works for the Kirk Douglas Theatre; identifying and engaging audiences for both ends of the spectrum. For the past eleven years, Jeremy turned his attention to the Jewish community, working with synagogues to help them grow membership and reach newcomers through dynamic online worship and study opportunities, robust and educational websites, and strong social media presence. Most recently he served as Chief Creative Officer for Stephen Wise Temple, a beloved fixture in the Los Angeles area since its founding in 1964. Jeremy holds a B.A. in English from Tufts University (Medford, MA) and an M.A. in Creative Writing from Boston University. His New England fandom has occasionally made him persona non grata in some Los Angeles pubs but he promises he wishes nothing but the best for the Dodgers (except when they're playing the Red Sox).

Julia Scalise

Julia Scalise is the Senior Director of Development for The Whole Child. She joined the organization in January 2020 to build a stronger base of philanthropic support for the organization, bring a donor-centered approach to our community fund-raising. Julia oversees the organization's development functions, seeking support from private and public funding sources, strengthening donor relationships and spearheading capital funding efforts. Julia has more than 25 years of success in raising support for social service organizations that serve vulnerable individuals. She has sought values-driven work at organizations that bring people into full participation in their communities. Among her work, she has launched major efforts to create and implement strategic development plans and led successful capital campaigns. Julia earned her bachelor's degree in communication with honors from the University of La Verne and holds certificates in fund-raising from the University of Southern California and in marketing from California State University, Long Beach. A native New Yorker, Julia loves to read (real books!), with a focus on early U.S. history and English history. A lifelong learner, she is studying Italian, and she is an avid walker. Laura Diego is the Director of Interim and Site Based Housing at The Whole Child. She joined the organization in July of 2011 and was one of the original members of the housing team, when homeless services were added to the The Whole Child. After a short departure from the agency, she found her way back "Home" and rejoined the Housing team in June of 2022. Laura is currently managing the Safe Families Interim Housing in Echo Park and the units at Communidad Cesar Chaves in East Los Angeles. Her social service background of 32 years, is in supporting the financial, medical, and housing needs of children, single adults and families. Her work experience includes working as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor, Medical Family Advocate, Director of Education and Training for Maternal and Child Health, California State Trainer for Healthy Families/Medi-Cal and Homeless Services Authority. Development and implementation of new projects has always been a passion, because it is through innovation that we can bring about change. Laura holds Bachelor's in Social Work from California State University, Long Beach. She has been a licensed Real Estate agent for over 20 years and is bilingual. Rosemarie has been Finance Manager at The Whole Child since July 2020. She joined The Whole Child in April 2014 as the Senior Accountant. She is responsible for maintaining accurate accounting records to produce true financial statements of the agency. Rosemarie liaises with auditors and works with the accounting staff to maintain clean audits and handles the agency's cash management and banking. Rosemarie has over 15 years of nonprofit accounting experience. She worked as the Senior Accountant at AIDS Foundation (Los Angeles) prior to joining The Whole Child. She has also worked for Head Start and United American Indian Involvement Inc. Rosemarie was educated as a Chartered Management Accountant from The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, London, UK. In her free time, Rosemarie enjoys cooking, gardening, and music.

Shaila Mendoza

Shaila Mendoza is the Director of Housing Navigation of The Whole Child. She joined the organization in June 2018. As the Coordinated Entry Systems Manager, Shaila collaborated with community organizations throughout Service Planning Area (SPA) 7 to provide support to families experiencing housing instability. As the Director of Housing Navigation, Shaila ensures that TWC Family Solution Center operates efficiently and effectively in preventing families falling into homelessness and housing families in need of permanent housing. She make sure that TWC's contractual obligations are being met. During her time with The Whole Child, she has supported the housing of families, implementing, and strengthening of policies for the housing Shaila has over five years of experience working in the social service sector. Shaila is passionate about making sure that families have access to housing to promote the success of children and youth in the community. As a graduate student, Shaila's research focus was understanding the needs of those experiencing housing instability and implementing policies and procedures that would allow organizations to better serve those in underrepresented populations. Shaila holds a Masters in Public Administration (MPA) from Azusa Pacific University and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from California State University, Northridge (CSUN). Shaila enjoys traveling, exploring new places, and learning something new. She enjoys nature and growing plants and/ or vegetables. Sherlyn Fish

Sherlyn Fish began working at The Whole Child April of 2008. Prior to that she enjoyed volunteering with the agency's Holiday Sharing of Gifts, the Whittier Christmas Parade, and fundraising with the Intercommunity Child Guidance Center Guild (the former name of The Whole Child). Over the years she has had a variety of different roles both in management and as a clinician. She has worked as a therapist in our Outpatient and School based programs and as a clinical supervisor for the FSP and Outpatient programs. Sherlyn is presently the Program Manager for Outpatient Services and she oversees the agency's Outpatient program, student internship program, and 0-5 clinical staff. She also supports agency LPS evaluations and hospitalizations. Sherlyn has been working in the mental health field for more than 16 years and enjoys nurturing growth and professional development. Sherlyn holds a Bachelor's Degree in Organizational Leadership and a minor in Biblical studies from Biola University and a master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Hope International University. Additionally, Sherlyn is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. On the weekends, Sherlyn enjoys spending time with her four sons. Stacy Enomoto is the Chief Financial Officer of The Whole Child. She joined the organization in 2012 and has been an integral part of the team that has led the organization through substantial growth in recent years. Stacy oversees budgeting and reporting for internal and external stakeholders, financial internal controls and audits, contract and grant compliance, and is a steward of the organization's overall financial health. Shortly after joining The Whole Child, she revamped the budgeting and reporting systems and brought a new level of sophistication to its fiscal management. Stacy brings over 30 years of financial management excellence to The Whole Child. Her experience cuts across the non-profit, manufacturing, distribution, and service industries. She firmly believes that a strong fiscal administration is one of the pillars of sustainability for any organization. She found a calling 20 years ago in the social services industry, particularly in supporting organizations that serve at-risk children. Before joining The Whole Child, she was the Director of Finance and Administration for Canyon Acres Children and Family Services. She developed systems to monitor mental health programs' financial position in eleven different counties. She also played a vital role in that agency's successful merger and acquisition processes by integrating financial and reporting systems. Stacy holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from California State University, Fullerton. She continuously participates in training sessions and seminars to stay abreast of changes in federal, state, and local policies that may impact The Whole Child. She is also a member of the AICPA. Tracy West-Grubb is the Chief Administrative Officer of The Whole Child. She oversees the "people" strategies of the organization, leading Facilities & Procurement, Quality Improvement & Training, and Human Resources. Her responsibilities include administration and compliance, culture building, employment related risk management, and the development and implementation of retention, leadership development and succession planning strategies. Tracy is an innovative and effective leader with a passion for transforming organizations. She has a balance of soft and technical skills that effectively help guide change. Her high emotional intelligence enables her to form strong partnerships with local leaders. She excels at implementing enterprise initiatives that drive change, achieve organizational objectives, and improve employee engagement; therefore, creating high-performing cultures who operate with excellence. William (Will) A. Torres is the Program Coordinator for the CalFresh Healthy Living Program at The Whole Child. He joined the organization in August of 2017 as a health educator. Will has successfully supported the nutrition department in various capacities during his time with the organization. As Program Coordinator, Will is responsible for daily operations and growth opportunities for the department. Will has over fifteen years of non-profit experience, with over ten years focused on implementing public health programs in Los Angeles and Orange County's underserved communities. Additionally, he has managed Federal and State grants to prevent obesity through nutrition education and physical fitness. Will is a firm believer that mental and physical health are instrumental to every individual's overall well-being. Being part of The Whole Child allows Will to create partnerships between mental and public health to develop a balanced support system for our clients. Yair Torres

Yair Torres is the Director for Intensive Services. He joined the organization July of 2017 as a bilingual community-based therapist. Yair oversees two mental health programs under intensive services to ensure client care is accessible and prompt for our high-risk populations: Full-Service Partnership (FSP) and Powerful Initiative for Early Recovery (PIER). FSP is the counties highest level of outpatient care for high acuity clients, and PIER is a prevention, early intervention program to address the onset of psychosis-related conditions for youth ages 12-25. He actively participates in PIER presentations in the community to create awareness and decrease stigma related to accessing mental health services. He has led the way in having PIER reach certification status from PTI (PEIR Training Institute) to ensure fidelity to early intervention and preventive care for mental health services. Yair is part of the agency's LPS designated staff who provide support to clients in crisis and place involuntary holds. Yair has been working within the mental health field for over 10 years and offers an eclectic approach to addressing mental health needs of clients. An approach that is afforded to him by his experience in multiple settings of mental health including school settings, Juvenile Drug-Court diversion programs, and community-based care for children, youth, and adults. Since he joined the organization, he has contributed to the agency's growth as a community-based therapist, intake assessor, LPS designated FSP clinician, clinical supervisor for FSP and PIER before his role as program manager. Yair holds a Master of Social Work from the California State University of Los Angeles, a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from California State University of Los Angeles and an Associate of Science in Administration of Justice from El Camino Community College in Torrance, CA.
