TRANSPORT 2000

Transport 2000 began operation in June 1998 with Alroy and Linda Kietzmann who started a small brokerage business concentrating on the transport of salt from the Port Elizabeth area. The company has since grown over the years to a staff compliment of more than 25 employees and now transports many commodities including citrus, wool, machinery, paper, metal products, wood and general cargo. In 2001 the company purchased its first vehicles which now make up a fleet of superlinks, tautliners, tri-axles and other smaller trucks all fitted with satellite tracking. In 2002 an East London office was established to assist the clients requiring transport to and from the area.
