Founded in 1967 by Robert Fusaro, the U of M Shotokan Karate Club is one of the oldest Student Sport Clubs at the U of M... SELF DEFENSE, FITNESS, & FUN! We are devoted to the study of Traditional Japanese Karate for self defense, fitness, and fun. We welcome beginners and all other styles of martial arts. Learn to protest yourself while staying in shape and making new friends... HIGH ENERGY GROUP CLASSES. Our members receive some of the highest quality karate instruction in the nation from Senseis with decades of experience. We offer classes three days a week, for beginner to advanced levels.
