Amy specialises in Medical Retinal diseases, General Ophthalmology and Cataract Surgery. Her areas of expertise include diabetic retinopathy, age related macular degeneration, inherited eye disease and cataract. She has extensive experience with retinal lasers, intravitreal injections and cataract surgery.
Our team is headed by Dr Andrew Atkins, a well known Melbourne eye surgeon who has practiced in Victoria for 20 years. Originally from Hobart, Tasmania he trained in NSW at the Sydney Eye Hospital. After successfully completing his training as an eye surgeon, he was accepted as a Fellow in the United Kingdom, training with eminent professor Mr Michael Clarke, at the Royal Victorian Infirmary.
