UAACOG, which stands for the Upper Arkansas Area Council of Governments, is a key organization focused on uplifting the Upper Arkansas community of Colorado. Their mission revolves around enhancing community growth, offering support, and prioritizing well-being for all. They have various initiatives in place: they champion the health and self-reliance of our seniors, support local businesses with financial aid and tax incentives, promote the well-being of children and families with programs such as WIC and Head Start, help folks find and secure housing, and boost transportation in rural areas to better connect our communities.
