Andreas Schulz is currently preparing his PhD thesis as part of a collaboration of the COPS chair with the MNF and the MTP chairs, guided by Profs. Willem Vos, Jurriaan Huskens, and Julius Vancso. He also performed advanced synchrotron tomography experiments at the European Synchrotron Radiation Facility (ESRF) in collaboration with Dr. Peter Cloetens.
Chris Toebes received his MSc degree for research guided by Prof. Pepijn Pinkse, and earlier a short research project guided by Manashee Adhikary MSc and Prof. Willem Vos. He is since 2021 continuing his PhD research under the daily guidance of Dr. Jan Klaers within the new AQO chair.
Dr. Bas Goorden is now a staff member at ASML in Veldhoven.

Dr. Jan Klaers was a tenure track researcher at COPS since 2017 until 2020, where he obtained an ERC Consolidator Grant in 2020. He is now leading a group within the AQO chair in the MESA+ Institute. His personal website is http://quantumthermodynamics.group.

Dr. Jelmer Renema was a postdoc in the COPS chair with Prof. Pepijn Pinkse, where he obtained an NWO Veni grant. He is now a tenure track researcher in the AQO chair guided by Prof. Pinkse. Dr. Renema is also CTO at Quix, a start-up company that was spun off from COPS in collaboration with the LPNO chair guided by Prof. Boller, and with Profs. Pinkse, Lagendijk, and Vos as co-founders.
Marek Kozon is currently preparing his PhD thesis as part of a long-running collaboration of the MACS (EWI department) and COPS chairs, guided by Profs. Jaap van der Vegt and Willem Vos, and Dr. Matthias Schlottbom.

Joris Vrehen is a R&D Manager in Optical Design at Signify, the leading lighting company in Eindhoven, the Netherlands (formerly Philips Lighting). He is a guest scientist at COPS to perform exploratory experiments in COPS' labs.
Kevin Vonk was the webmaster of the COPS group. He successfully guided the transfer to a WordPress site (from the previous Drupal one).
Ozan Akdemir is currently preparing his PhD thesis in the COPS chair, as part of the NWO-TTW Perspectief program "Free-form Scattering Optics", in collaboration with the TUE and TUD, and with ASML, Signify, Lumileds, TNO, Demcon, and Schott.
Prof. Ad Lagendijk obtained his Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry in 1974 from the University of Amsterdam (UvA). At present Lagendijk is professor of physics at the University of Twente (UT). Earlier, he worked as a distinguished University Professor at the UvA and as group leader and division head at the FOM Institute AMOLF in Amsterdam.
In the field of propagation of light in disordered media (experiment and theory) Lagendijk is a pioneer and world leader. This field has grown enormously and gained importance due to its highly multidisciplinary character. He has supervised 40+ Ph.D. theses.

Shravan Raghunathan worked as a junior researcher at COPS between 2019-2020 on a project studying anisotropic light scattering from nanowire structures. He is currently a PhD student at Leibniz-IPHT in Jena, Germany
