WALDEN WEST FOUNDATION

The Walden West Foundation has been supporting Walden West's environmental science and stewardship mission, operated by of the Santa Clara County Office of Education, since 1996. The journey continues to transform Walden West's 35-acre campus from a collection of old and obsolete structures to a state of the art, comprehensive science learning center to benefit all children living in Santa Clara County... Established in 1996, the Walden West Foundation has helped to develop and foster collaborative science partnerships with leading Silicon Valley companies and educational institutions. Our Foundation raises funds to support Walden West Outdoor Education programs... We are looking for Foundation Board Members who can help us to reach our goal by providing time, treasury, and/or talent. Vital roles needed to help carry out our mission include: grant writing, fund development, board development, marketing, public relations/media, strategic planning and non-profit experience.
