Beverly was hired by the Board of Directors in October 2009 and took over the operations of the work center on January 1, 2010 as their full-time executive director. She has an intellectually disabled daughter who has been employed at the work center since 1982. Beverly brings to the position over 50 years of experience. She is married to Earle Young, and they have 7 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren. One of her proudest achievements is the honor of being the mother of Dean Findley, Cheryl Findley and Denise Childress -all of whom are involved in "service to others" within their respective jobs. "I am so grateful that the Lord blessed me with this position because it gives me the opportunity to see clients learning new job skills, and enjoying their work experience." Beverly's staff is a very qualified team who strives to instill in our clients a spirit of teamwork, and a true dedication to customer service. Visitors are always welcome, so come and see us!

Chistopher (Chris) Phillips is a Pharmacist, and owner of Chris' Express Drug in Oklahoma City. Chris was well known in the City of Moore when he worked as a pharmacist at the former Rexall Drug on 5th & Broadway. He has the following degrees: Pharma D; Associates of Science; OUHSC and Panhandle State University. Chris is the President of the Board of Directors, and we appreciate him for taking on that responsibility. Chris and his wife Brandie reside in Norman, Oklahoma, and have four children. Chris and his family worship at Victory Church in Norman, OK.

Dr. Jon Painter has been a member of the Work Activity Center Board of Directors since September 24, 2015. He has been an Optometrist for 30 years and his office is located in Moore, Oklahoma. His Doctorate is from NSUCO. He has served on the Moore Health Clinic Board as president for 2 years, Moore Parks Board as president for 1 year and as a board member on the MPS Board for 5 years.
Dr. Painter is very interested in helping young people accomplish their goals in life, especially the developmentally disabled adults at the Work Activity Center. He is married to Kim and they have four children. Jon ran for the Oklahoma House of Representatives and although he lost that race, he continues to stay informed on the issues and how he can be of service to the citizens of Moore, Oklahoma. Jon, Kim and their children attend the First Baptist Church in Newcastle, Oklahoma.
Earle Young, Jr. has served on the Board of Directors since 2012. He has been a resident of Moore, Oklahoma since 1993. Earle is the owner of Management Software Support Services, LLC, and has been a software consultant for over 36 years. One of the highlights of his career was working as a Programmer/Analyst for the Space Program in Houston, Texas. He has a Business Degree from the University of Central Oklahoma, and he and his wife Beverly have 5 children, 7 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren. One of his stepdaughters is developmentally disabled and has been employed at the Work Activity Center for 37 years. Earle has been a faithful member of the Board, and continues to bring to the table his business expertise, and wisdom. Earle serves as an Elder at Community Christian Church in Moore, OK.
Jerry Meek was a Board member from 2002 - 2018. He was actively involved (long before serving on the board) by supporting the Center financially through various fundraising events; maintenance of our work facility, and has been dedicated to helping our clients have a place to work and socialize. He has been the General Contractor for Apollo Building Systems, Inc. for over 40 years. His company has built many of the business structures in Moore, OK including Fire Stations, and the Public Safety Building. He is also a Vietnam era veteran. Jerry and his wife Debbie will be missed at the work center by clients and staff. Thank you Jerry for everything you did for the Work Activity Center, Inc.

Lori Gray is President of the Work Activity Center, Inc. Parent's Auxiliary for 2019/2020. She represents the Parent's Auxiliary on the Board of Directors for one year. Lori and her husband, Ernie Gray are the proud parents of Derek Gray who has been employed at the Work Activity Center, Inc. since June, 2003.

Russell Hollingsworth has been on the Board of Directors since April, 2017. Russell worked for Universal Insurance Agency, Moore, Oklahoma for 10 years. He is now employed at Dillingham Insurance in Oklahoma City, OK. He is married to Whitney, and they have four children ages 10 (twins), 6 and age 3. Russell previously served on the Moore Chamber Board of Directors for two years, and was a Teacher/Coach for 7 years. He has a Bachelor of Arts from East Central University. He loves working with children of all ages, and is looking forward to promoting the work programs for the developmentally disabled adults at the Work Activity Center, Inc. Russell, Whitney and their 4 children attend Wildwood Community Church in Norman, OK.
