David H. Wolfe

Mr. Wolfe has more than 25 years experience as a civil trial attorney. He is licensed to practice law in the State Courts of Illinois and Wisconsin. He is also licensed in the Federal District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and is a member of the Federal Trial Bar. He is a member of the Chicago Bar Association, Illinois Association of Defense Trial Counsel, DRI and the Workers' Compensation Lawyers Association. He graduated with honors from the University of Illinois (B.S., 1991) and from Washington University in St. Louis School of Law (J.D., 1994) Mr. Wolfe has an active civil litigation practice. He has tried jury trials to verdict in: Cook County (Chicago) DuPage County (Wheaton) Peoria County (Peoria) Will County (Joliet) Winnebago County (Rockford) Mr. Wolfe has conducted numerous examinations under oath, arbitrations and mediations. He is regularly selected as an Arbitrator for uninsured and underinsured motorist claims. In addition, Mr. Wolfe has litigated hundreds of workers' compensation cases in the majority of Illinois venues. David O'Connor

David O'Connor joined Wolfe & Jacobson, Ltd. in June 2023. Mr. O'Connor is licensed in the State of Illinois. He is a member of the Chicago Bar Association, and the Illinois State Bar Association. He completed his undergraduate degree at Northern Illinois University in 2018 and graduated from Chicago-Kent School of Law in 2021. In law school Mr. O'Connor worked as a law clerk for several private firms involved in personal injury, insurance defense, toxic tort, product liability, and construction litigation. Mr. O'Connor has represented clients in workers' compensation cases throughout the State of Illinois and has additionally represented clients in cases involving automobile negligence, premises liability, the Illinois Animal Control Act, property damage, and personal injury.

Elizabeth A. Soto

Elizabeth Soto joined Wolfe & Jacobson, Ltd. in January 2015. In 2010, Ms. Soto graduated from the University of Kansas with a B.S. in journalism from the William Allen White School of Journalism and Mass Communications. She earned her Juris Doctorate from DePaul University College of Law in 2014. While at DePaul, Ms. Soto was a Case Notes and Comment Writer for the Journal of Art, Technology, and Intellectual Property and then an editor for the journal thereafter. Ms. Soto received the CALI Award for Law and the Mass Media and the CALI Award for Intellectual Property for the Business Transactional Lawyer. Ms. Soto is a member of the Chicago Bar Association, Illinois State Bar Association, American Bar Association, Women's Bar Association of Illinois, and a Board Member of the Chicago Chapter of the Kansas Alumni Association.

Erin K. Cullen

Ms. Cullen is licensed in all courts in the State of Illinois and the State of Minnesota. She is licensed to practice in the Federal District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. She is a member of the Chicago Bar Association. She previously served as Chair of the Law Student Committee of the Young Lawyers Section of the Chicago Bar Association. She completed her undergraduate education at Illinois Wesleyan University in 2004. She graduated from The DePaul University College of Law cum laude in 2007, where she was named to the Dean's List multiple times. Ms. Cullen obtained her Health Law Certificate from The DePaul University College of Law. Ms. Cullen's past experience includes clerking for The Honorable Allen S. Goldberg in the Circuit Court of Cook County's Commercial Law Division as well as working at a civil litigation defense firm. Ms. Cullen concentrates her practice in civil litigation, handling cases involving automobile negligence, construction negligence, property damage, personal injuries, wrongful death, product liability, dram shop, employer liability, coverage disputes, and premises liability. Ms. Cullen has also litigated insurance subrogation cases. She has represented clients in Municipal Division and Law Division cases in Cook County and in many other counties in Illinois. She has experience litigating large multi-party lawsuits. In addition, she has defended Workers' Compensation cases throughout Illinois.

Lindsey Heidel

Lindsey Heidel joined Wolfe & Jacobson, Ltd. in June 2023. In 2017, Ms. Heidel graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Madison with a B.A. in Psychology and a B.A. in Sociology from the College of Letters & Science. Ms. Heidel also received certificates in Criminal Justice and Gender & Women's Studies. She earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of St. Thomas School of Law in Minneapolis, Minnesota in 2022. While at St. Thomas, Ms. Heidel was Treasurer of the Criminal Law Association, the M.S.B.A. Representative for the Family Law Society, and a member of the Delta Theta Phi law fraternity. Ms. Heidel completed a judicial externship with Judge David Lutz of Dakota County. Ms. Heidel is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and the Minnesota State Bar Association.

Patrick R. Grady

After spending more than 20 years in the business world as a consumer of legal services, Mr. Grady earned his law degree and is licensed to practice before all Illinois and Indiana State Courts, the U.S. Seventh Circuit, as well as the Northern District of Illinois where he is a member of the trial bar, and the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana as well as the Eastern District of Missouri. Mr. Grady has tried more than 20 cases to jury verdict during his 23 years of practice including cases involving damages in excess of $1,000,000 and cases in which plaintiffs sought punitive damages. Mr. Grady has tried cases to verdict in the Northern District of Illinois, Cook County Law and Municipal Districts, Lake County, Illinois and Lake County, Indiana.

Peter W. Jacobson

Mr. Jacobson has been a licensed attorney in the state of Illinois since 2000 and in Indiana since 2001. He focuses his practice in the areas of workers' compensation defense, employer liability and civil litigation defense. Mr. Jacobson received his Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1997. He went on to earn his juris doctor from DePaul University College of Law in 2000 and joined Wolf & Wolfe at that time. Since that time, he has had extensive trial experience before both the Illinois Workers' Compensation Commission, as well as jury and bench trial experience in circuit court. Mr. Jacobson focuses his practice in the areas of workers' compensation defense, employer liability defense and civil litigation defense. He has tried a multitude of cases before the Workers' Compensation Commission in venues throughout Illinois over the past decade. His professional affiliations include the Illinois State Bar Association, Chicago Bar Association and the Workers' Compensation Lawyers' Association. William B. Jensen

Mr. Jensen has more than 25 years experience as a civil trial attorney and concentrates his practice in the defense of worker's compensation cases. Since 1994, he has represented employers in workers' compensation cases throughout the State of Illinois and has tried more than a 100 cases. He has tried workers compensation cases in Peoria, Springfield, Joliet, Geneva, Waukegan, Wheaton, Woodstock and Chicago. Mr. Jensen also has experience defending employers in civil cases. He is licensed in all courts in the State of Illinois and is a member of the Illinois Workers' Compensation Lawyers Association. He graduated from Eastern Illinois University with a degree in Finance and graduated from John Marshall Law School, cum laude.
