Dr Anne Ward is the founder and medical director of Stafford Skincare. She is a highly respected Consultant Dermatologist, and is an expert in the management of skin conditions and in aesthetic treatments. Her down-to-earth manner, commitment to high standards and desire for natural looking outcomes means that she has many satisfied clients returning to her for repeat treatments for over a decade. Dr Anne Ward is the founder and medical director of Stafford Skincare. She is a highly respected Consultant Dermatologist, and has over 30 years' experience in managing skin conditions, backed by specialist training. She is also an Aesthetic Practitioner, trained in the use of Dermal Fillers, Injectables and Skin Rejuvenation products and techniques. As a consequence, Dr Ward is able to provide a holistic service - offering both non-surgical cosmetic procedures and treatments to improve the appearance and texture of your skin. Dr Anne Ward qualified from Queen's University of Belfast in 1987 with an Honours Degree, coming first in her year. She was appointed a Consultant Dermatologist in 1996 and now works solely in private practice. She has been providing non-surgical cosmetic procedures since 2006, including Dermal Fillers, Injectables and Skin Rejuvenation treatments such as Medical Micro-Needling and LED Red Light Therapy. Dr Anne Ward is a consultant member of the British Association of Dermatologists, the British Cosmetic Dermatology Group, the Royal College of Physicians and the British Hair & Nail Society. In 2016, she was elected President of the West Midlands Dermatological Society. She continues to work closely with the British Association of Dermatologists, contributing to the publication of the UK National Guidelines for Photodynamic Therapy in 2019. Dr Anne Ward is on the General Medical Council's Specialist Register (GMC number: 3190085), undergoing an Annual Appraisal and 5-yearly Revalidation to maintain her licence to practice medicine. Each year, she attends multiple aesthetic and dermatological courses, enabling her to give up-to-date, evidence-based advice. She is regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and is a member of the Joint Council for Cosmetic Practitioners, striving to maintain high standards in aesthetic procedures and in healthcare.
