David coordinated and chaired patent litigations for JCM American and its parent, Japan Cash Machine, as a plaintiff in Nevada and defendant in two actions in New Jersey and Germany resulting in a $11.4 million jury verdict in Nevada, a dismissal and award of sanctions in the first New Jersey action, and an invalidity determination with a defense fee award in Germany. The Federal Circuit affirmed the damages award to JCM from the Nevada litigation and then the second action in New Jersey was resolved on favorable terms after a summary judgment determination of no literal infringement.
